  • Just bought it! Hopefully, I can do my part to help out the animals I love so much.

  • where can i watch this?? any1??

  • I'd like to see this. I'm not a Vegetarian, however I absolutely HATE how we exploit our fellow earthlings, I can't stand humans who think we have more of a right to live than animals do. I think I need to see this film in order to radically change my lifestyle of being a meat eater.

  • Quality song anybody know the name of it?

  • @tvrulesnation Mind - Talking Heads

  • I was a punk rocker and got a lot of people to see the film in LA, became a vegetarian for a while, but broke it on a McRib... :( I like this film much better than "the Cove," which i think is just racist drama.

  • Everyone needs to see this film. It made me go veg overnight, when I saw it on PBS in the late 1980's.

  • Makes me ashamed to be a part of the human race - why do we feel the need to dominate and exploit animals in the name of science, food or even fun. This film turned my stomach and the horror of it has stayed with me for over 20 years after I first saw it on Channel 4's 'banned' series of films in the late 80's. Am vegetarian but seriously thinking of becoming vegan.

  • Duvmasta, you can purchase it at Victor Schonfeld's web site. Everyone should see this film. I saw it on PBS back in the late 1980's. It changed my life (as well as the lives of MANY animals).

  • free our mind

and stop paying for animal "products".

thanX for all the work to free life.

  • The list of horrors that animals have to undergo at the hands of man is long indeed. We need to end the torture of our fellow creatures.

  • Where can I see the whole film on the internet?

  • This film made me go vegan 20 years ago, I still have it on an old vidio tape! Its so disturbing but everyone should be made to watch it.

  • How tragic and sad, that after all these years the situation hasn't changed -:( matter of fact I do believe things have become worse - or is it that we are just able to hear about it more now. God help this planet - and all who live on her !

  • Thank you for this great vid!Poor animals!

Let us help them!Stop animal cruelty!

  • Thank you so much for posting this. The film changed my and my family's lives for the better when we first saw it in 1986. I believe it's from 1978. With the population growth, things have gotten even worse for factory-farm animals. I'm mostly vegan for 23 years and thank this film for that.

  • OMG! I was REQUIRED to watch this film in a college psychology class in 1985 at Western Michigan University. The guy who is discussing with somewhat "remorse" as it seems in the trailer here about the chimpanzees WAS MY INSTRUCTOR!!!! The film absolutely SICKENED me! I was crying, and I don't recall if I was even able to watch the whole thing! Horrific things that are STILL BEING DONE TODAY! Steel yourself up, and watch it if you can!

  • This video is sad and it makes me sick and ashamed to be a human!

Innocent animals are not OUR TO EXPLOIT!

Stop animal testing, DONT WEAR FUR!, FREE LOLITA!!

  • es ist so schrecklich was wir menschen anstellen und wie wir unschuldige wesen

quaelen!Es muss endlich ein ende nehmen!

  • I am ashamed to be a human... Animals are not ours to torture them !!!!

Why is this happening? Probably because most of us PRETEND we don't know what is happening...

  • I, too, saw this film when it came out in the 80s and it changed my life. Sadly things have got worse for animals in the meantime. Our victories, such as banning fur farming in the UK and an end to commercial whaling (lamentably, some countries still ignore this) are more than countered by the Canadian seal hunt that is now worse than ever and the incredible numbers of animals being reared for food under intensive conditions - increasingly in the far east.

  • This is the film that turned me vegan 23 years ago. A masterpiece.

  • I saw this film on PBS back in the late 80s. It haunted me for two weeks. This is the first I've even looked at the trailer since then. How sad that animals have been so exploited. That bit about the turtles---that announcer had a sick sense of humor.

  • Buy it and support animals right in our society.

  • anyone got a copy of this film? or know where I can get one? David, UK.
