here in italy the freight trains have a maximum of 30-40 cars and go faster than yours trains, but the level crossing make to wait because the trains,also the passenger trains, arrive about 2-3 minutes after the closure of the bars

I pass every day across train yard and train station but I know signals and I know when the train is going to pass and on which tracks!at my state there is a light on side of every track and if a train is coming that light is green and if not it is red...peace
