I play a Fender Stat Hecho en Mexico - it has no locking nuts and it plays stiff. But, I like it cuz it's cheap and still has a good

Your dexterity is there, but you aren't playing in any identifiable key. Learn your scales, how to connect them, and focus on the root note, so that your playing will be cohesive.
Why would someone need a floyd to make a guitar scream? He's just playing a harmonic at the point where the 24th fret would be if a strat had 24 frets.

It's definitely a Fender...look at the headstock design/logo, and the pickguard.
