I shared on facebook and twitter. I am so upset that OBAMA passed this horrific bill on Nov. 18, 2011. SAVE our HORSES from the SLAUGHTER HOUSES.

So have our policy makers seen it? Where are their reactions posted? Bet they won't open a plant in any politicians back yard! A war on equines in 2011 is really strange--when there are schools/hiways/medical/immigra­tion/natural disaster issues to take care of. The greatness of a nation is measured in the way it treats its animals. Where are we going...?? I bet a war on Portugese Water Dogs would have Obama over the edge. What is it he doesn't "get"? He broke a campaign promise about this

Not to mention that the meat itself is tainted by "many" drugs that are not for human consumption, and are carcinogenic.The drugs are part of why it is so difficult to deal with the blood. Horses have almost twice as much blood and cattle.
