@allbikes9 Japp, but here this is really unusual! Most of the Germans don't know at all how to drive a car when there's snow and/or ice on the roads... We're used to having almost spring by now...

This is the hardest winter I've had in the 28 years of my life - even harder than last year, which I spent on Iceland... ;)

Where is the chaos.... there hardly is snow on Finland there is 1 meter deep snowbanks and you cant even see the roadside fences... on the vid, looks like there is barely 10 cm snow "banks" on the side of the road

@jannetin normally there drive thousands of cars, trucks and of course also snowplow, so normally there is much traffic and you can see the asphalt

Wow! How lovely. I live in the south in the US (Atlanta, Georgia), and we hardly ever see snow (maybe 1 to 2 inches every few years). I would like to live in Germany, or at least visit during Santa Clause Day and Christmas. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

@musedonna You don't have to go all the way to Germany. You're not all that far from Canada, where there is much more snow than you see in this video. Not sure why the highway is closed. Looks like a normal winter's day of driving in Canada (at least when I've been there). But yeah, it does look very nice there in Germany.

That´s not true, so sorry! Many streets are broken with deep and wide holes. No money to fix the streets. Germany is going down, no it´s down! I say thanks to our goverment and I say thanks EU!

Well then, it's obvious that this person doesn't know the meaning of the word "chaos". Was expecting to see cars mangled or at least an accident or two. All we got was a video of trucks in Germany following a mandate that prohibits them from driving the Autobahn after 5p on Friday and before 5a on Monday. They must pull over and park where ever they are when 5p hits. Just a law there.

And the background music was crappy to boot.

on this Part of the Highway you normaly have a Traffic of about 70.000 Vehicles per day und the right line is full of Trucks.

That much snowfall we have one or two times in ten years. To avoid accidents and stucked cars they closed the Autobahn (i.e. Highway). Unusal though.
