@Courtneylovehorses12 I prefer the air especially when they get updated shortly. If you are doing video editing I would suggest a macbook pro though.

@theenigmajeffhardy1 The new MacBook air is incredibly fast unless you are doing work with video. If you plan to use it for creating video then I would get the Pro, otherwise the Air will be great for you.

@zollotech that alluminum was exactly the same as the normal macbook of that time, then they pass that aluminum model to the pro line and they add a firewire 800 port and the other stuff the pro has.

@iPadlover1 It depends on what you want to do with it. If you ever plan to make video then I would go for the pro. If you want it to use for the internet, listening to music and watching movies, then the Air is great for that.

I'm a gamer but I want portability and reliability? Your answer is a MAcbook pro 13 inch. The 2.4ghz core 2 duo is not optimal, but gets the job done combined with the Nvidia 320M 256mb graphics card and 1.3 gb shared memory, and 4gb total memory. Get an air if you want something pretty that can't handle games in Windows 7 using boot camp. Also, if you want windows 7 for free then just search youtube. You'll be able to get it for free via torrent as well.

@jnson2010 That depends on what you plan to do with it. If you are doing any sort of editing where you will need to render or transcode video or graphics then a MacBook Pro is where I would go. If you want something for browsing photos, music and the internet, then the Air is a great choice.

There is definitely something wrong with your MacBook Air because the boot up time should be 15 sec and not 31 sec.
