thias music is very fitting. there really need to be some shows out there featuring some of these characters. there are absolutely TONS of anime's and cartoons out there with human characters, but not as many with characters like these. This is really well done artwork and it should go to the next level, and be a show or even a movie. Characters like this can go so far, and i hope there are people who are willing to go the distance with them and make some great stories with them

Cartoon animals such as Tom & Jerry or Ducktails are not Furry or Furries . The term Furry specifically refers to a specific sub-group of fans of anthomphomized ( or humanized more accuratly) animals.
@angrydead Hun, the cartoon animals you speak of are indeed anthros. They walk upright, talk, do do things that normal animals don't do. The term furry has many meanings and you are not one to decide which meaning is right or isn't. Furry is another way of saying anthro, and applies to the drawings as well as the fans. I doubt the creators of those shows had any inkling of being "furry," and they weren't made to be furry, but by today's standards the art within them can be thought of as furry.

you know, just think how much work geneticists would have to do to try and engineer a species/race like this. Like a combination of feline DNA and human DNA, with super detailed tweaks made everywhere to ensure that the species was perfect in every way. high metabolism, short fur on the body, yet longer on the head and trying to sift through which human properties would show through and which animal ones wouldn't. but if they were to succeed, imagine the future then. Just imagine.........

thias music is very fitting. there really need to be some shows out there featuring some of these characters. there are absolutely TONS of anime's and cartoons out there with human characters, but not as many with characters like these. This is really well done artwork and it should go to the next level, and be a show or even a movie. Characters like this can go so far, and i hope there are people who are willing to go the distance with them and make some great stories with them

*irrelevant.....Anyway, you have to take the word furry as a generalized term. Using it in "furry culture" "furry fandom" "furry art" "furry characters" is being more distinct. The mainstream anthro is still anthro. It doesn't mean it was made to be furry or that the artists are furry. If you take the word furry out, then the depictions are nothing more than depictions and furry art is just art. All in all, it doesn't matter. You can't define furry unless you've spent a long time around furry.

I think being a furry is some peoples idea of beauty.
As for me, I find dragons beautiful. Powerful, strong and elegant creatures.
Other people might find other things beautiful, and other people might find them not so.
either way, what im saying is that we, as individuals, find beauty in the form that appeals to each and every single one of us.

Furries (or anthropomorphics as they are otherwise known) have been a major part in human culture since the ancient Egyptians. And it's still as strong now as it was then.
I mean, look at Disney and Pixar.
Look at Aardman and Warnerbros, at loonytoons, cartoon network, Miyazaki,
Sonic the Hedgehog, Ratatouille, Sly Racoon, Star Fox...
The list goes on and on, but I hope that now you give a bit more thought before you start dissing furries now.

@angrydead Hun, the cartoon animals you speak of are indeed anthros. They walk upright, talk, do do things that normal animals don't do. The term furry has many meanings and you are not one to decide which meaning is right or isn't. Furry is another way of saying anthro, and applies to the drawings as well as the fans. I doubt the creators of those shows had any inkling of being "furry," and they weren't made to be furry, but by today's standards the art within them can be thought of as furry.
