The Korean gentleman playing the Hapkido Master is the late Grandmaster Bong Soo Han. (He also did all the stunt fighting for these films). Whenever you see "Billy Jack" fight, it's actually Bong Soo Han.
Studied with him for a couple years as a kid. He was a true gentleman.
@shenzino A friend of mine, who passed in 2000, met Master Han in person. He said he was a true soft-spoken gentleman, but not one to mess with. After meeting him at a friend's dojo, he went with my friend and several students to a bar where a local redneck started making racist comments about Master Han and started shoving him. Master Han simply grabbed the man's wrist, applied some pressure, and he quietly crumbled to his knees. Shortly afterwards, Master Han bought the man a beer. True story.
It would have been great if after Jean swept Billy's leg, he got up, and beat the shit out of her.
