I had this phone intially and i agree, its total crap. i had to go through three androids and finally ended up with an Acer, much better device.

WOW i had this phone for not even 2 weeks now and i can safely say worst money ive ever spent biggest peace O crap ever when i was mid typing on the key pad last night it broke and the main butten broke it just not work any more now. and on top of that its the laggyest touch screen ive ever had to use...over DO NOT GET THIS PHONE

Yes, as this phone uses a resistive touch screen so you can use your finger, finger nail, or a stylus, etc.

Devices that use capacitive touch screens only work with the finger (e.g. iPhone, HTC Dream) so finger nails won't work.

i have this phone and im pretty sure you can sync music from itunes and if you want to turn off 3g you can always just turn it on airplane mode. and if you want internet get this one instead of the xenon but if you dont want it then get the xenon. also you have to get the data plan but where i got it from you had to get it for a month then you could cancel it after a month. but its worth it cuz it comes with facebook, gmail, youtube, google maps etc. i luvvvv this phone :D

cuz i have lg xenon but the problem is setting ringtones is blocked by rogers mutafuckers!

Most (not all) of Rogers' smartphones can set MP3s as ringtones. It's the consumer handsets that can't.

sorry 4 the l8r reply but i do live in canada but ive never tried doin that b4! i just use the one they set on it ;) and i think so cuz u just need a usb cable (i tthink im not an expert ) so yah and its an awesome fone but make sure you get a txt plan!!!

The only way I can think of on the Eve is to create a "dummy" APN and set the Eve to use that.

Yes, the Eve has a touchscreen keyboard but it's still faster to type on a physical keyboard.

i myself would probably go for the eve because with the htc TP2, is that with ability to tilt the screen and its only supported by this thin piece of fabric, its probably not gunna be too supportive and could possibly break off easily

I think you only get the advertised price if you go on a contract with select plans but it's best to talk to customer service to be sure.

i hope rogers gets more android devices, the dream and magic are ok, but the dream is too bulky looking. and the magic looks sleek but has no physical keyboard, i personally hate using a touch screen to type. this looks nice.
