there is something about lynch's films that i find more frightening than any horror movies i have watched so far in my life. it brings up feelings that i can only describe as purely unsettling. something that makes your heart jump and feelings of anxiety and true fear crawl up your spine, but i can never pinpoint exactly what it is about them the only way i can describe the feeling is if your in the woods at night in the pitch black with another person and they say to you something is wrong here

No, he's not. THis is part of his genius, I believe. When you watch his films you realize that he is NOT articulate with words, rather he uses mood, music, and imagery to articulate ideas that are not easily explained. LH is about a man who comitted murder but you never know it b/c it takes place in his mind, as he struggles to fight the truth of what he did. It's a truly beautiful language. Words are too messy as they say
