so some kid who is generally good, gets average grades and doesnt cause problems, just so happens to have pot on him, gets busted, gets a record, cant get into university, cant get a good job.
what the fuck is the point in ruining some kids lives
its just stupid, and not helping anyone, why dont they conduct those raids on drug lords?
@TurKdiRty i was arrested IN CLASS for possesion of a pot cookie. just so happens i was just finishing a test. i got 100% + I WAS STONED. they said to me "now do you see how pot interferes with your life?" i flipped. i was like "THE ONLY THINK FUCKING INTERFERING IS YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES". found out that you can get charged for THAT to. but point being, if a kid is doing everything he should be, why does a cookie even fucking matter?
i went there in 93 i loved it there was never anything bad going on there the principial there was an asshole too.i went there 2 and a half years loved it cant say anything bad about it
You people need to ask yourselves what feminism had to do with this. In the past, kids didn't kill one another, bring guns to school and sell drugs. First they destroyed the family, then they enacted a police state to "keep you safe" replete with cameras and officers with guns drawn on school children. You need to wake up.

You need to start asking yourself if feminism had anything to do with this or the growing surveillence society and police state that we find ourselves living in. The kids in the past didn't kill each other, sell drugs, or bring guns to school! Wake up! First they destroyed your morality by killing the family and then they enacted a police state to "protect you".
Taking feminism as an example: Since feminism, we have seen staggering increases in divorce rates, staggering increases in violent crimes among youth and declining morality, downward spiraling fertility rates, ballooning government expenditures on social programs, increased drop out rates, increasing trade deficits, etc. Each of these items can be traced to roughly the same period of time, and each of these likewise, follows the same progressive uptick. Feminism is responsible, without a doubt.
Feminism impacted divorce rates quite directly, by advocating for no-fault & easy divorce. By pushing women into the workplace, feminism set up the monetary conflict which is so often at the core of relationship breakdowns. In addition, with two working families, little time could be devoted to children, who then developed a variety of behavioral problems. Having no parenting, or a severe lack thereof, children's moral frameworks were impaired & they turned increasingly toward violent crime...
Oh absolutely, but it goes beyond that. Remember McCarthy, talking about communist influence in labor, and feminist movements? - right on both counts as is now abundantly clear. The goal is an amoral socialist state in which the government has absolute control, run by the very capitalists that socialism pretends to despise. You see, the pigs and the farmers sat around the table together, and decided our fates. They came to realize that both sides really wanted the same thing - absolute power.
I rather write it off to the increasingly apathetic nature of people. There was a time when unconstitutional laws such as the patriot act would have been cause for people to pull out their muskets. But those days are gone. If it doesnt affect their day to day life, people dont care. In fact, if it doesnt SEVERELY impact peoples day to day lives, they dont care.
It amazes me that despite these tactics turning up no drugs or weapons, that people are convinced that they were there. As if EVERY drug dealer and weapon holder were tipped off. And there were cams to catch those with drugs & weapons.
Reminds me of the hysteria about satanism and communism. Schools and cops got pretty stupid about fighting that, too, with everyone convinced there really was a major problem no matter how many times they were proven wrong.
i used to go to that school. i was a sophomore when it happened. one kid started to run and they tackled him. no drugs were found on the kid but he was a lookout.
Unless you went to this school, you have no idea about the weapon problem. The chance that a student would have a gun (if the drug dealers hadn't been tipped off) was high. Think about it, in the time that it would take for the police to pull out their guns after a student has drawn theirs, how many police down is that? How many students? They did not want to take chances.
Ehrm...Yeah, I went to Stratford, there were drug deals going on every morning in the main hallway. It's just they got tipped off that the raid was coming that day.
i dont believe in the legalization of drugs.
but if drugs were legalised, there would be no gangs trying to deal it.

Strong correlations, impacting in multi-faceted ways, should not be summarily dismissed.

in other words... strong correlations which impact in many ways should not be dismissed entirely?
That doesn't even make sense. How does a correlation make an impact in many ways?

Supposedly the CIA funded Ms Magazine to help accomplish that end.

Id really like to know what the justification of holding students at gunpoint is?
Unless a vast majority of them were brandishing weaponry, or willfully resisting in a way that could bring serious bodily harm to others,
but as i cant see that being the case in a high school, i would qualify this as a hostage situation

even if there were drug deals going on every day, that does not justify the wholesale violation of students' rights.
