Only the first two seasons (and not ALL episodes) were dubbed into English by Fred Ladd's outfit for syndication by NBC Films in the U.S. {104 of them}, from 1963 through '65. Quite possibly, the series could have continued for at least another season, but I believe Osamu Tezuka wanted to move on [he had other projects to work on, including the second season of "JUNGLE EMPEROR" {"KIMBA THE WHITE LION" in the U.S.}], and decided to end "TETSUWAN ATOM" just where it was...at the end of 1966.
This part where astroboy put the salt on the flying monster and it melted away. Where he got the idea from? I rmember someone says if you put salt on a snail, it will melt away too. Damm. this is cruelty to animals!
@WingedMushroomOfDoom Was the 60's episode The Greatest Robot on Earth dubbed in English? I was just curious, because it was my favorite 80's series and manga episode.
At 6:03, I don't remember any of the other 60's episodes having Astro use his machine guns. Were they edited or something? Then again, I haven't seen every 60's Astro Boy episodes.
Wait a minute Astro is just now remembering all of his past episodes
DOH! I love this Whole epsiode though!

Great end to a wonderful series. But, here is a "Continuity" as IMDB would call it, where did the giant salt bag come from?
Also, Mushi Productions should have Astroboy (or Atom), which ever you prefer, come back from the sun....

(Astro) "Hold it! Hold it!" (a talk bubble that say "Hold it!" pops up in front of him) "Out of my way!" LOL!
