very brave people! I hope one day Israel will be a peacefull country with two peoples including Palestina, or living peacefully side by side with a democratic Palestinian state. Either way, Israel has to give up the dream of a 'racially pure' country like some would have it... it only leads to discrediting the israeli project...

No matter which side you're on (jews or palestinians) this sort of action is the *enemy* of democracy. People as well as leaders should be allowed to speak without dissenters shouting them down and trying to silence them simply for publicity. ...
I say to the Jews that did this, shame on you and I would say the same to Palestinians or any other group if they did the same to their leadership.
my hats off to these brave Young Jews. I remember a time when Young Whites in South Africa also took a stand against Apartheid and declared that their freedom is premised on the fact that other South Africans enjoy freedom. and that they were not willing to legitimise injustice. Of the many organisations, the End Conscription Campaign will forever stand out, as these youngsters were starring imprisonment in the face and yet took a stand. It takes a few to move the larger society. STAND FIRM!!!!
This makes me so proud to see these people speak truth to power, especially when all the forces are against them as they do it.
Dang, I think I'm about to cry here.
It is in this spirit, a spirit that I am sure combines the best of wanting to secure a homeland for the Jewish people with a sense of integrated commitment to human rights and needs that builds a sound, substantive policy (and respect) for the state of Israel and its inhabitants.
I have no words for how brave these individuals are
I am SO proud of these young people! Greatly outnumbered, they stand up, one by one, to protest that Judaism is being betrayed by those who most loudly use its name to "justify" their inhumane treatment of the Palestinians, to "justify" the silencing of dissent, to "justify" their adoption of tactics and politics once used against them!
It would have been easier - and safer - for them to have protested all at the same time. By doing it one at a time, they showed great courage and integrity.
What is up with this rude behavior? Why ruin other people's events? Its just ugly behavior. What on earth is accomplished? Just in case you didnt notice, all you did was solidify the crowd against any possible good ideas that you might have brought to the table in a reasonable way. Through your extremist behavior, you cement a wall against you. Why is that not clear to you?
Imagine if this happened at everyone one of his speeches. They need to do this with Obama, too. You guys should all watch "The Obama Deception" if you haven't already.

My eyes sting with tears for these brave young people. People of all races and religions CAN learn to live in peace. We CAN learn to enjoy and respect the differences we have without imposing on each other. Love and Peace!
I am utterly floored by the courage of these people. Amazing stand for human rights. They will be remembered as the heroes of this struggle when Apartheid Israel fades into history.
Well done to you all, such a brave and courageous thing to do. I wish there were more brave people out there like you. You have our support, I can only imagine the backlash but its time the Zionists were curbed and people realise that they are doing more harm to Judaism than good. This is the sad truth.
If Israel had stayed within its 1948 borders it would be genuinely legitimate. (also, provided Israel had never evicted Arabs from their homes, and blocked their return.)
Everything beyond these '48 borders, and even considerable territory within those borders, legally and morally belongs to Arabs.
You're brave people, before everything else. Brave enough to shout what you believe are true in the middle of hundreds of blood-lusty, intolerant so-called leaders fulfilled with hate. Respect and I hope little messages like these ones would be atleast a bit of power for you to keep struggling for peace.
Many in my family(my husband was) are Jewish. I am so sorry that these problems continue to be faced by people whose greeting is Shalom. Whitenightf3 said it best and I wish good for all. Sometimes feel I have no right to comment as I am not Jewish.
You can have an opinion as a responsible human being living on this planet...What do human rights mean for mankind, if nobody is allowed to comment how they are respected or not ?
@mittenola You left out the real power that operates behind the scenes...the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Morgans and other private international bankers.
the palestinians need justice NOW!! end israeli apartheid, the state of israel is a terrorist state -- these supporters of israel are complicit in the murders, imprisonment, abuse and torture of palestinian children and all palestinians. how can they sit their and praise this war criminal and state thats acting like nazis!
I love how his bull a the start was basically "anyone who criticizes Israel is an anti-Semite, an enemy to all jews, and an ally with the Nazis" only to be interrupted by peaceful young Jewish people, proving he does NOT speak for the Jewish people of the world.
@ForgottenEasternJews It does not matter if a Jew is as you say "self-hating". Israel has had 61 years to reach a peace with their neighbors and have failed to do so. If it can not reach a peace in 61 years, then it does not want peace. The Likud party alond with Kadima speak of nothing but war with their third-world country neighbors, delagitimized all of them, delegitamized the U.N., delagitamized anyone who has dissenting opinion, and delegitamized history.
@SuperFifthwheel. In 1948, Jews comprised of ~38% of the population of Palestine and owned only 8% of the land but were given 56% of the land including he more fertile areas. That's why the Palestinians didn't agree to partition. However, as we now see, the Zionists only (grudingly) accepted partition to gain a foothold. They're not interested in peace. If they did, they wouldn't continue evictions in East Jerusalem and settlement building.
I think this was hilarious. Bibi couldnt even finish his speech. The first protestor was a surprise and nobody was expecting such a thing while after that everybody was on guard to stop the "next" protestor. I got to say Bravo! It surely hit a nerve especially for Bibi. The settlements, the occupation, the seige on Gaza, the loyality oath and silencing dissent, surely these are subjects to consider if Israel wish for any Peace, arent they?
The reaction of a large crowd of Zionists to the mere mention of peace talks is one of the scariest things I've ever experienced in real life. I attended a conversation between AIPAC and J Street in Boston; the violent voices and chilly air were unspeakable, as if someone was about to get murdered. Anyone with the courage to stand up to this crowd deserves our applause and support.
@georgezimmer You call the crowd in this video "scariest"?????? I guess you haven't been to middle east. Go to an arab country and publicly say anything good about Israel, you will be lynched and hung by a tree the next day.
@georgezimmer. Nowadays, we hear too much from Zionist commentators well versed in rhetoric but in reality. it's more than likely this individual has never been to an Arab country or has any Arab friends.
Don't be surprised if he/she belongs to the Hasbarah; an organisation connected to the Israeli Prime Minister's Office that pays non-Israelis/non-Jews to hit the airwaves and internet to post pro-Israeli comments and give negative scores to anyone who sides with the Palestinian position.
One by one, protesters are attacked by the audience members as they raise their voices and hold up their banners - before the uniformed security officers can get to them. Yet, even though the protesters, exercising their right to free speech, have been assaulted in plain view of security officers -it is the protesters,... and not their assailants, who are taken into custody and arrested. The address is allowed to continue after the crowd has repeatedly turned violent and destructive.
The reaction from the crowd is very disturbing to me. That crowd doesn't sound like a well thinking crowd but more like a brainwashed hysterical crowd, as if they smell blood. Those people are not even willing anymore to listen to the opinion from another human being. Not even willing to accept international laws. That is called brainwashed in the books.
What is this so-called "occupation?" Individual Jews & Jewish agencies BOUGHT land in the Holy Land to join other Jews in what was then a rather desolate country. Other land was given to them by the British (who owned it) & later by the UN partition plan. Other areas were won in conflicts & wars that they never even started - or because Arabs fled at the urging of their leaders while Arab countries sought to "drive the Jews into the sea." Well the Arabs lost so now you cry for them as victims?
First off, these supposed Jews were being highly disrespectful to a world leader. Protest all you want outside or in other forums but let the guy deliver his speech.
Secondly, these kids are so young that all they see are the present conditions without taking into account the antecents of this whole conflict. The fact that Arabs started all the violence about a century ago with several massacres of innocent, peaceful, unarmed Jews who only wanted to live in peace with them.
This was not an attempt to provide an alternative viewpoint but a deliberate attempt to start an angry confrontation-- as such they illustrated Netanyahu's points far better than anything he said. Having read their statements elsewhere, they're just angry and ill-informed.
If the YJP activists were interested in real debate they could be working with J Street or Brit Tzadek v'Shalom: two Jewish organizations attempt to advance an Israeli-Palestinian through thoughtful advocacy.
" No matter that patriotism is too often the refuge of scoundrels. Dissent, rebellion, and all-around hell-raising remain the true duty of patriots. "
These young Jews are the ones who should be honoured for their bravery and love of their nation! They are calling for equality and universality in our treatment of others. They are the examples of how we should be. Bravo.
Good for them. And shame on those who attempt to confuse criticism of Israel with anti-Semitism. I can criticize the actions of the Italian government without hating Italian people.
They remind me of the White Rose Society in Nazi Germany, primarily composed of young Germans, they spoke out and carried out civil disobedience against the Nazis. Hopefully this effort will meet with greater success than the White Rosers.
Zionists like Netanyahu harp on about the Holocaust (which was an atrocity) but what he fails to mention is that in 1933, the Zionists of Palestine collaborated with the Nazis (read "The Transfer Agreement") against the wishes of the European and Amercian Jews. The Zionist forces (Haganah, Irgun and Lehi (Stern Gang) ethnically cleansed 750,000 Palestinians in 1948 and an additional 450,000 in 1967.
The problem is not Judaism; and Abrahamic religion of a monotheistic God.
The response of the crowd is both telling and frightening. Fascism has taken hold there as it has here in the US.
The silencing of debate is NOT a Jewish value, or a democratic one. How can the occupation and starvation of Palestine affirm Jewish values or Christian ones?
And it certainly t won't help the people of Gaza to call Israel a "CANCER", it only makes legitimate critique look anti-Semitic.
But the protesters in this film are JEWISH PEACEMAKERS. Bless them & pray for them!
@PeachMcD I agree with you on everything except: "The silencing of debate is NOT a Jewish value, or a democratic one". The Assembly was not a debate forum, it was netanyahu giving a speech. It is in fact considered "rude" to attend then disrupt the speech. As far as "democratic" goes, the peacemaking jews had the choice of either listening to his war-mongering "love Israel or die" brainwashing speech or to just not go. Freedom of choice.
@rabbitwho Yes it is, but thats how the tyrannical Likud party works. Israel is a democracy (as it claims) therefore majority wins, Jews living anywhere outside Israel are property of "Israel-citizenship" whether they like it or not even if they are not registered or living there. If they disagree with Israeli policy then they are considered "self-hating"Arab propogandist (which in Israeli means traitor) therefore Jews should bow before Israels wishes.
@PeachMcD Don't know what your smoking but this is not the silencing of debate. These are young bored ignorant people that are disrupting a speech by a head of state.
If they would like to debate, I am sure there is no lack of people that would be willing to debate them. Although they may mean well, their knowledge of history and intelligence is severely lacking.
The problem is they couldn't get an audience that would be interested in listening to them. So they hijack someone else's event
@joe1026 This IS the silencing of evil...head of state my arse....evil through and through YES YES YES...now go and drink your kool-aid and remember to brush your teeth with that wonderful flouride and after that maybe drink a few gallons of coca-cola....and by the way Their knowledge is `spot on`, evil is getting to be noticed big time...and the people are not having it....

These young Jews are the ones who should be honoured for their bravery and love of their nation! They are calling for equality and universality in our treatment of others. They are the examples of how we should be. Bravo.

Well done Young Jews and JVP members. Terrific work, standing up against Netanyahu. You are admired by Jews and non-Jews alike across the country.
Keep up the good work!

The danger is Zionism

@SuperFifthwheel I think it's a little ruder to force people out of their homes .

@joe1026 war criminals are not welcome, no one wants to debate with a apartheid state.
