What this Boston feed failed to show was what happened seconds before the whistle. Walker had collided with Alberts. During that sequence Alberts had led with his leg slamming into Walker which is incredibly dangerous regardless of the type of player you are. You can see it very faintly in this clip. However, the Carolina version is floating somewhere here on YouTube. It is unfair comparison in regards to the Ward incident.

Yeah, Walker hurt his hand on Alberts's visor, you can hear the punches to the visor in the 2nd clip with the sound. He doesn't normally wear one, but has lately to protect an eye injury.
