@ginacartoon prerendered graphics don't look good mixed with real-time 3D, that's a no-brainer. The main reasong being that you can't dynamically adjust lighting on the pre-rendered object.
@barc0deblankblank Well the graphical style in my opinion is simply cheesy, which is common for most games that use photo-digitized sprites. At least it looks better than Guardians of the 'Hood which was a choppy compared to this
must buy game. Im not even a fan of side scrolling brawler games. This thing had me hooked though. The graphics, the style, & the moves are so fun to pull off.
Gameplay looks pretty smooth, my only issue is the extremely bland UI. Switch it up a little bit, the fonts make it look like you used powerpoint to place them there.
With this smooth movements imagine if Mortal Kombat sticked to the live action like from MK to MK3

I like the idea of using billboards in the game to teach the user how to play, it's a good way to increase immersion.
