  • Something tells me the rhino behind the quad would have pulled it a little easier.

  • The Guy on the front of the fourwheeler works for geek squad...

  • I've been hunting moose in New brunswick for a lot of years and unless you understand the situation these hunters are in, you should not make any comments about how to get the moose out of the woods. The season is ONLY 3 DAYS long and from the moment it is put down, the race is on. You need to get it out of woods and prepped for the butcher all within an hour or two or you may not find a butcher. Also days get hot still and flies will lay eggs very quickly. So you gotta get it out FAST!

  • gota love bruised meat

  • I tried that once and ended up with some dirt in the meat that had to be cut off. Now I try and tow a cart and take one half at a time. Nice moose though!

  • You know I am no expert, but that moose looks dead...yuk yuk

  • Nice moose Barb. People need to remember one thing.

Moose meat is still a necessary food item for winter.

I am a hunter,we do not kill for sport, this animal is

our winter food supply. Whats the difference between

a cow being taken for food or a moose,NONE.

it all depends on the way you look at it.

Besides moose steak smothered in onions and

    mushrooms awww fine eating.

Barb save me a steak lol

  • Its funny. All the people bashing this video have probably

    A) Never hunted

    B) Have hunted, but are terrible and couldnt shoot the broad side of a barn, or

    C) Have hunted, but never shot a moose and have tried to get it out of the bush.

Sure they could cut an 800-1000 pound moose into quarters, but thats still four 200-250 pound AWKWARDLY HUGE pieces of meat that youre going to have to transport out of there. What I have just seen makes the most sense until you can do a decent job of cutting.

  • @Jevor Thanks!! The temperature at the time was very warm and we were afraid the meat would spoil if we did not get it out fast, Barb shot the moose at 7:30am and we had it out of the woods and on the trailer to the butcher by 10:00am..

distance we had to travel was about 1 1/2 miles. try to do that with 4 quarters on your back.. all about not wasting the moose..

  • i agree man have respect buddy cut it up into quarters! and put 2 pieces on at a time! fuck by

  • Ingenious canadians!
