I think Korg will have to bring out a more basic synth version without the HD recording and sequencing capability. That way more people will be able to afford it who are already more than happy with their HD recording and sequencing equipment and don't want the agro of starting again with a new system but who may still want to buy into the synthesis engines that are obviously collectively unique and are probably sonically a new undiscovered country.
Kronos seems like the best workstation on the market for its price , how ever i think it should have been launched instead on the oasys a few years back ...
i still use my korg triton a lot but mostly as a midi controller , my KP3 i would say the functions and features are still all used no matter how old it gets
What took you so long to put a nice Piano and some Rhodes in a keyboard if only they had put it in earlier than now, but even so well done korg. Always leading the way except the fact they never had any good piano and rhodes tone in them but now they do Motif is going to sleep for a while. One dislike on the hardware side is that the sliders are cheap and ugly like a old "AM RADIO" I think alot of us would prefer something like the Motif or Roland.
when this guy explains that the majority of the factory presets were HD-1 but the entire rest of the instrument could be used for EX sounds i thought i was watching Look Around You and had to double check.
after 6 years of development you'd think this wouldn't be an issue.
Im a begginer n this the most difficult keyboard in the world, it needs come with a damn teacher instead of a dvd
