I'm half way through the book of this. So far, it's the best book I've ever read! All of the who's-going-out-with-who stuff gets really exciting! And Ron... He REALLY comes out of his shell in this one! Him and Lavender Brown? But I have a feeling that there won't be much of that in the movie, as it gets very... intense in the book. But I recommend read the book before you go and see the movie.

They said the reason was they didn't want 2 battle of hogwarts, with the other one being in the 7/8th movie. Which is complete BS because it doesn't make sense, that's the whole point of the draco storyline is that he went back to school for THAT reason: kill dumbledore and get death eaters inside.

The weasley thing is so stupid since the wedding scene in the 7th book has an attack against the weasleys. They are really fucking up if they don't put scrimgenor, plus dumbledore's funeral COME ON!

What's the point of showing Hogwarts invasion when there's already one in the 7th book.. The director wanted to avoid repetition cuz movie critics would slam it crazy, lol. Instead the climax plays more as a tragedy which is fitting... after the cave scene, it's the part where there on the tower, Snape kills DD. then Harry chases Snape as he flees the Death Eaters and fights him.. it's a more personal climax which i love.

Amazing trailer! I have said from the OOTP that David Yates was the best man for the job and he seems to have proved it with HBP. I love the fact that at last we see Harry's humour (the end part with Hermione is hilarious) and even though I am angry that the Hogwart's battle has been cut out I can't wait to see the scene at the Burrow.
