now i have been watching all of your videos and i agree with all of them but i am having some doubts about this video so i have to pray to god to give me some guidance on this subject

Bro, I'm a Seventh Day Adventist, and we have always refused Christmas for the same reasons you have mentioned.....its pagan roots. Same for Sunday worship. It is our belief that even as the end draws near, the Lord would reveal these truths to all beleivers in whatever denominations they might belong to. Stay blessed and may Jesus continue to protect you.

I was in the store yesterday and the cashier was singing christmas songs kinda loudly..and the people in line just smiled and said wow your realy in the "christmas spirit"...I cringed...they smiled : ) ....

Since you know about the truth about Christmas. Easter is also pagan. IT is as much evil as Christmas. We need to abide with Christ in the Passover. He was crucified on the Passover week. We also need to observed the Sabbath and not Sunday. This was changed by the Roman Catholics. They changed everything. They will be the ones to deceive many when they make the Sunday law. That doesnt' sound strange at all....some people are so religious they dont understand it, but even church attendance is under the guidance and leadership of Christ, not compulsion. HEbrews says not to FORSAKE it, that doesn't mean forbidding someoen from stepping back and trying to figure things out....church is not what it is meant to be right now in most fellowshps and it can be confusing and need much guidance. I did that for a time too and people accused me of falling away lol.

even though im an atheist, i still celebrate the holiday season around christmas time. my whole family celebrates, so who am i to get in the way of tradition? i like to consider myself celebrating "x-mas" as just a time of love and celebration of good times and appreciation of those around you. and presents :D

I totally agree with this video. I do think we can use this time of year to speak of the true meaning of Jesus birth when people talk about Christmas. And turn evil for good. I celebrate His birth every day, but I'm happy to use this time as an opening to talk about HIM and what He has done. Christmas time (pretty lights and pretty things) is nothing compared to the wonders of heaven when we see our Lord face to face.

Of course the exact date isn't known! Christmas falls almost squarely on the winter solstice as a matter of convenience for the church to establish a date of celebration. The same is true for why "church day" is Sunday and not Saturday, based out of convenience and separation from the Jewish calendar.

A better point is, why do calendar dates matter? The Georgian calendar is not God's calender, so who should care?
