  • need to get some rotation in there , also replace the shakiness with light refraction from the panels effect .

    good effort

  • Very nicely done! Perfect amount of blur and shake for the zoom distance. Id certainly give it an A+.

  • Like the music you choose - it fits so well to the ISS grandeur :)

  • Why don't you fake an airplane flyover? Do you think it will be hard to convince people that airplanes flying people high in the sky is a hoax. I am amazed by the idiots who believe the whole manned space program is a hoax. I'm sure they love these fake videos.

  • Great video. Currently trying to contact ISS by amateur radio. Seen videos on YouTube and heard various nets but never talked personally to them.

  • i am from india....can i see it?

  • WOW if thats real, thats awsome!

  • Dude that looks fantastic. really really good. Try selling that to a news station!

  • very nice, personally, I think the shake makes it look real. Hard to keep steady on zoomed objects. Really cool.

  • Now do one with Dr Evil's escape rocket!

  • gg right there

  • how can anybody dislike this awesome work?

    well done dude!!

  • first I didn't thought that this is fake... but in the same time my middle part of brain was telling to my frontside of brain where the eye-wires are connected: "I'm not sure if this is real.. I mean that ship is spinning way to fast on its orbit.. at the begginnin you can se the left side of it and in just 49 seconds it turned with the right side towards..". my frontside replied: "shut up stupid ! cant you see? it is so real !!! ". So.. intresting how my brain works ....

  • The shaky-cam hoax video effect is actually working against your concept here. With a real telescope, you'd have an automatic tracking system that would follow the path of the object and it would be very, very smooth. You'd find it nearly impossible to track by a hand-adjustable telescope as it's cooking along at about 1 degree per second.

Then again, what it would actually look like is a picture of the ISS in the center of the frame, which doesn't make for terribly exciting video.

  • @modelcitizen1977

I'd suspect the 1 degree per second is just a rule of thumb. I've seen a few transits with the naked eye and IIRC the angular speed differed significantly each time, though it was generally very high, of course. If one chooses a sighting opportunity where ISS doesn't rise too high above the horizon, manual tracking might be possible depending on the equipment. On the other hand, atmospheric disturbances should weigh in even more heavily then.

  • That is some nice CGI there

  • there's peoples out there....:)

  • @intrptr that's to make it look more realistic

  • Hows this fake?

  • well done m8!

  • very well done!!

  • Im not trolling here - what is the title of the music? I;ve heard it befoe but cannot remind myself where.

  • Perfect! It's the shake that make it! Totally believable - Well Done!

  • WHAT MOVIE IS THIS SONG FROM..SOUND SO FAMILIAR

  • @denz1r

Im Replying To Myself Because I Already Look Stupid.

  • @denz1r the day after tomorrow :)

  • @denz1r The day after tomorrow

  • Good Grief, Charlie Brown!!!! Now I don't know what to believe!!

  • I have some points to make:

1.Get the camera 'shivering' effect off. It adds nothing to realism

2.Why is the ISS spinning around? Anybody could determine this video is not true, because ISS is behavind strange..

3.Get the hollywood music off and add something more appropriate. Think about what will amateur telescoper add when he adds his view of ISS. Probably no music..

4.Add some realism. Like color-hue, or something else.

    5.Make this video more amateurish..

  • very nice. the sideways shimmer doesn't quite fit any real effect but it's certainly movie quality.

and yes don't do UFOs and pretend it is real. UFOs are real and only asshats try to muddy the topic. perfectly ok to do UFO graphics as long as it's clearly stated

  • Very good - would have fooled me!!

  • KILLER work man! Kudos. and to hell with the advice not to do UFOS. You're upfront about it from the get-go. Kepp it up.

  • damn, good fake. This could obviously fool me into believeing its true.

  • Could have fooled me

  • Very nice job with this. The atmospheric distortion and slow change of angle makes it appear very realistic. Well done. Thanks for posting.

  • @skycrysis its the theme song to the day after tommorow

  • although i do hate when people fake it, this is pretty damn good and like intrptr said "please dont do any ufo vids" lol its a very serious topic to many and their is to many fakes now of day

  • Where did i heard this soundtrack before? i can't remember.

  • If you don't say anything about faking,,, this could surprise more than just one. NICE WORK!

  • That's a good effort. You could fool a lot of people with that.

  • What is the use of this? It's a fake!

  • Awesome!! now you should try to "put" an UFO over the White House or similar...

  • If you ironed out some of the physical faults as mentioned below such as zooming in and out and the space station rotating too much, and atmosphere wobble increasing as it reached the horizon then you would have a really good CGI model. Really good effort mate - I liked it.

  • awesome view

  • good fake ive tryed tracking the iss and was unable to keep it in view whilst recording, someone told me my telescope should be able to see through the iss window which made me laugh after trying.

  • Unreal =,(

  • Some tips...

A camera mounted on a telescope can NEVER zoom in.

The ISS does not turn mid flight and it would have had to to show the rotation viewed here, you're rotating motion very clearly does not correspond with the true ISS orbit vector.

The clear image does not correspond with the lapsing tracking.

The seeing conditions are physically impossible.

The seeing does not change along with the thickness of atmosphere the ISS is located behind during flight.

  • Nice job!

  • Good music who is it?

  • I think this is a fake fake. You faked faking this fake. Its that good.

  • Promise me please that you wont do any UFO's on UTube...K?

  • Were you ever an apache pilot... by any chance...Good job you hoackser. As long as you had it in the cross hairs....

  • TARGET LOCK!

    FIRE!!!

  • Very Nice Fake, could you take out ALL the shake from the vid?

  • @starmon2

If he did then I assume it wouldn't look as realistic since not even the best tripod in the world can eliminate shakes. Most of it anyway would have been gases, heat and particles making it blurry. This is just my opinion, though.

  • @Mazza4Azza well to a point, I agree, but as a long time astro-photography, with a stable setup (C-14) and having seen these on Spaceweather in the past (real ones) this is a LOT of shake. But still point well made and nice attempt to fake a real event.

  • @starmon2 correct as the shaking is hard to do correctly in cgi

  • @starmon2 or just add less...lol...

  • @StopListenThink Yeah, the ones on Spaceweather are easy to see parts of the ISS and the shake is more on the microscale, than moving clear off frame. Still like it!!

  • @starmon2 taking the shake out would lessen the authenticity of the video. The instrument to capture a shot that close with hi-rez and no shake doesn't exist yet. I hear you though; everything else about the vid is so good it makes you hungry for perfection. He nailed the realism though.

  • LOL, wonder how many people watch it until the End! Excellent job, you had me at BUNG!

  • Impressive.

  • I hope u can answer the name of sound track used in video.

  • @shuklavinays Its the Day after tomorrow theme. Good movie

  • @shuklavinays "President's Speech [The Day After Tomorrow OST] "

  • fake....

  • Stinkin' cool!

  • Just a testament to how far humans have come

  • Pretty slick brotha!

  • what song is playing???

  • @series25a Day after tomorrow theme! Its awesome!

  • FAKE AND GAY

  • How are you supposed to justify the rotation of the ISS? You were spinning around with your telescope? Lol! The only flaw tho'.

  • Nicely done.

  • Awesome work ;)

  • I was just browsing with other tabs and then I just pressed this... I haven't read the First notes I have just watched the middle and then I say... 'Wow how did you filmed it' ? and then I replayed the video again and seen that it is just a CGI... Wow you're amazing!

  • wooow amazing

  • I see the canceled Russian Solar Power Platform on the cgi,

so thats what it would have looked like (lol)

  • This was pretty cool. I think what would "make it" would be if you had a few frames of a bird or a plane flying between the ISS and the "camera." And just like my comment about the moon UFO video, some more undulating atmospherics would really make this sing. Finally, just a few clouds obscuring the ISS for a few seconds here or there.

  • The light should be perpendicular to the solar panels, and they would rotate relative to the rest of the station as it orbits.

  • That was great!! Good song too; probably the only thing good to come from that movie.

  • very nice

  • Omg i should have used the star wars theme song here . The attack of the clones HAH

  • Before you blabber your ignorance of this being faked, please please go and inform your self about the ISS and it's distance from the surface. Do your self a favor and alter your youtube habbits. Nothing worse then childish remarks something that can't be accomplished by owns nature, must negate the rest.

  • Before you blabber your ignorance of this being faked, please please go and inform your self about the ISS and it's distance from the surface. Do your self a favor and alter your youtube habbits

  • @muneeb12able dumb ass it says its fake.

  • Very nice job! To show us that is "really" fake :-) You could make a zoom good enough to see through the window of the ISS, and we could see the people passing by, and perhaps a "suspicious alien form" inside of the ISS. It would be wounderful to see!

    congrats!

  • wspaniale zdjecia....respekt dla ludziego mozu

  • Whats the track over the back of this? I like :-)

  • I think you destroyed the experience informing the audience by warning them in advance.

I would have been impressed twice if the CGI reminder came at the end.

  • @tubewatcher77 I agree. Awesome, but reveal at the end.

  • Not bad. The trajectory ISS appears to be flying is wrong though. When you say anything can be faked, I have to put a qualifier on that. You might be able to produce a convincing fake of an ISS video, but I challenge you to produce a fake real life view of ISS in a telescope's eyepiece. Perhaps you only meant any video can be faked, in which case I agree; with today's technology anything is possible, though of course there's no reason to doubt the tons of amateur ISS videos that do exist.

  • So Impresive, congrats........

  • I notice there are many people who still believe the Moon Landings were faked. It saddens me that in light of irrefutable evidence people still cling to false beliefs. Why is it so impossible that with the passionate soaring intelligence humans have developed that we can map out the known universe, transmit information using waves that are invisible to the naked eye and question the foundation of reality but we can't shoot a rocket carrying people to a pretty damn close rock and back?

  • very nice and good work .!!..

How did u made the camera shaking so good and the camera out of focus effects ? it seems to me they were made using some kind of behavior..

    I like it !

  • Extremelly well done hoax !!!

But 40 years ago, they did the real thing.

If they faked it, why fake it 6 times and why fake an accident on the way to the moon ? (Apollo 13). Too expensive and time consuming to fake 7 trips to the Moon. Men put their lives on the line to sit on top of ICBMs and go to the Moon. Several actually died. To suggest it was all faked is an insult to their courrage.

    This was a fantastic acheivement.

  • wow...so cool...what telescope did you use?

  • guys.the moon landing isnt fake.thaey even proved it

  • The music makes it look real. :-D

  • amazing ! stunning ! beautiful !!!

what software was used to create this?

  • As Morpheus once said, "What is real?"

A very good question that is because when you cant decide what is real or fake, you realise that you make it real

  • How about... a tutorial?

  • why would somebody sit down and fake something like this ?? sad little people in this world with p u s s y to run home to. sorry to be u

  • Bloody well done!

  • Good effort.

  • How can I tell if my gf is faking?

  • @Pemberdeer HAHAHA rofl

  • somebody must know the answer to this.

is there any telescopes good enough to see anything we left on the moon?

that is, telescopes that we can look through ourselves in person

  • looks like tv aerial lol

  • Not too bad until it starts spinning around. The ISS doesn't spin or rotate, especially that fast..

  • If only every faker admitted to there hoaxed videos of UFO/aliens, but that will never happen unfortunately, great CGI work.

  • Nice Fake

  • it's fast

    crazy fast

    and large

easily seen with naked eye from anywhere it passes over

  • wow you could get a job at NASA faking their stuff

  • Nice job man, it looks like you even got a little light poloution and atpmosphere look into the shot too, very convincing, though I think you may have little less time to track the ISS as it screams past at 17,00km/ph. Very good video. I more than likely got the specs wrong i'm just a beginner astronomer so don't shoot me. Cheers, IC.

  • Spectacular! I could believe this is real.

  • music from day after tomorrow?

  • AMAZING CGI! What's even more amazing is that you took credit and admitted that it was CGI. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You had me until you zoomed in! You should've used a digital zoom effect.

  • the music from your vid is from "the day after tomorrow" isnt it?

Great song, really emotional sounding and fit the movie perfect :D

  • You sir are Great and Triumphant ! !

  • This music is sweet.!!

  • Regarding the Moon landings, if they were fake the Russians would have said so.

After all they were the losers and had every reason and means to prove it.

And we have the hard evidence, some 360 kg of moon rocks. The Russian unmanned missions took samples with a total weight of 320 grams and their composition confirm the authenticity of the American samples.

  • wow that looks very real... hm please don't make fake ufo videos! xp

  • perfect fake :)

  • What sells this is the camera shake. So how do you do that? If it is keyframed in after effects then you've done a great job. Any tips?

  • Had me fooled...

  • i suggest looking into the mythbusters debunking of the moon hoax. Everyone is always up for a good conspiracy theory but cmon people, its real. THIS footage however, even tho fake, is dead accurate and damn good. bravo sir

  • Great video!!!

  • I love how you call the real pictures of it from the ground with quote marks showing how little you know because NASA and even private individuals have computer & video means to track and catch it on video anymore.

  • theres no way this is fake.....

  • Cool vid! Excellent fake-shake!

  • can we see it from west europe? portugal?

  • You can see a fly over in most of the planet. If you contact NASA web site they will give you a time, direction to look etc. when ever it flys over your area ahead of time. I've been getting up date for a few years now. It's very interesting to see it fly over, sometimes with the shuttle following when there a link up. Gladly give you site address, since you can't put it here.

  • honey u can watch it from everywhere because is fake :)

  • LOL... I know this particular video is a fake, but the question remains real

  • so u knew the video is fake and u asked: can we see this from Portugal? it doesn't make sense for me.

what do u mean by particular?

  • There are on YouTube many videos showing the ISS passing through somewhere in the sky... I'm passionate about astronomy since I was a little boy, so after viewing lots of videos showing the ISS I used one of them to put the question: can we see it from Portugal?.... But I really didn't expect for an answer... :-:

  • so bcoz u were passionate about astronomy in ur childhood u asked a question that u knew the answer but u wanted to prove that portugese ppl r stupid is that what u were after?

  • Comment removed

  • i like this tune

  • its fake???? looks real to me. nice cgi work .

  • What is this sound track from? Am I wrong for thinking Pearl Harbour or Apollo? Other than that I have no clue :\

  • It's from the ay after tomorrow when the camera is moving across the ice plateaus at the beginning.

  • Good.

Still need to work your seiing model. It is not blurred and random enough at high spatial frequencies. The image looks too clean.

A telescope doesn't zoom but ok zoom could ne done with the camera behind.

ISS doesn't pass by that fast as far as i remember but OK that's a demo.

  • i saw this baby with naked eye, looked like a purple orange star.

  • wow good work!!! looks really to me!!... which means you did (like I said) Great work!!! Even the movement and the "heat haze"?? looks real too.. Good work !!!

  • THATS AWESOME!

  • Very impressive

  • Well done. I am empressed. So I know, that I have to learn a lot of. Congratulations.

  • Looks real, very good. 1:17 to 1:50, shouldn't the shadow on the right solar panel move in relation to the rotation of the iss? (since earth and the sun are almost stationary relative to each other for such a small interval).

  • awesome

  • Nice work. The problem with faking moon videos in particular are the physics that go with a Low G near vacuum environment. It's such an alien environment, back in the day it'd have been near impossible. Today? Possibly.

One of the more damning arguments against hoaxers is the lack of air to suspend dust. Lunar soil is never suspended for more than a few seconds.

Every hoax theory has been thoroughly debunked. NASA gives access to all of the data. Go have a look! ;)

  • @laserfloyd of just meet the astronauts in person and listen to their stories

  • beautiful video, looks really natural.

  • Thanks for sharing! Okay everybody, let's wake up and stop being lazy with our common sense and critical thinking skills. Think before we judge and act!!

  • I rarely get faked by a CG but this was the best I've ever seen. It will make me get back on my toes and question everything and never take life at face value. As far as faking Apollo images 40 years ago, I just don't think the video and computing capability was there, but I wanna hear the expert. So what do think Mr. TheFakingHoaxter?

  • Thanks and yes they could of faked the Apollo images 40 years ago, it would just take longer to do using photographic methods and models.

  • @TheFakingHoaxer

this fake need some atmospheric turbulence.

  • @TheFakingHoaxer it would have been easier to just do it... that and the fact that anyone with a little knowhow can bounce a laser off the reflectors they put there means it must have happened...

its not like goin to the moon was hard, even though the iphone these days has the same processing power as the entire NASA computers on that mission

  • @tehs3raph1m

Well, it was *hard*, but not voodoo. With enough cash, faking just wasn't warranted.

Aside from that, the photos are a big red herring. Hoax believers like to pretend that if there were new photos, they'd believe it. But its even easier to fake now than it would be in '69! That is, if the artist isn't a moron who thinks stars should show up in broad daylight ;)

I believe the Moon landings as truth, but not cause of photos.

  • @TheFakingHoaxer You have to keep in mind that although they could've faked it, there is an extremely large amount of evidence practically proving that man has set foot on our distant neighbor.

  • @TheFakingHoaxer if you think the moon landings were fake you are an idiot and should kill yourself

  • @covingtonium you is a fucking retard and a boring wanker at that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @christflights

that doesnt mean they did though

  • so how did you make a fake?

  • The question is; do you think the moon footage could have been doctored by an indivdual like yourself way back in '69?

  • Yes, you dont need todays tech to make a good fake.

  • @TheFakingHoaxer Pity that NOBODY has NEVER even tried to remake the pictures and videos of the Apollo missions, and not even explained how could they had been possibile in '69. Don't forget the sand which blows (in a perfect parabolic motion) behind the wheels of the rovers without atmosphere, it's impossibile to simulate the 1/6 gravity walking/jumping on Earth (see mithbusters) and a plenty of other details...

  • Dude...i LOVVE your videos man....you sure have really really good talent...and you always make it look real..and from my end i live it like if it was real like this shuttle disater with a satelite....looks awsome man.....keep up the great work and dont forget to post them for us :o)

  • Well done!

ps. Can any topic not be discussed without arguing people?

  • that's some damn good CGI

  • The Fake One. What are you trying to do? Damn. Last Solar Array is installed at March 2009. Check your adding time of this video out. And I can see modules that not installed yet. I think try to learn about astronomy. Not ASTROLOGY;)
