@Stairc Unfortunately, it has become a PSN exclusive for the time being. Not sure about PC, but a PC port sounds far more likely than a ground-up Wiiware version.

Huh, at first I must admit, I thought from the title it was either a Megaman fan movie or an april fools joke designed to mock the series. After seeing the trailer though, it looks pretty darn good. I hope they have a demo available on the Wii Ware version.

everything could trigger the red ring of death, I'm used to it. I hope the wiiware version is simmaler to the ps3-pc versions. I hate being ripped off because the wii is less powerful :(.

the above could probably run on the wii in 60 frames per second. the motion blur, shading, specularity, reflections, and depth-of-field effects are intense. i'd like to see the wiiware version of this game to have super mario galaxy-like quality effects :)

That would be great, but that sounds like wishful thinking. Hopefully the Wii version looks just as awesome or has a good visual style to make up for it :)

it better look as good as super mario galaxy. it's 2.5d, and for all we know the background could just be a pre-rendered scene with parallex scrolling which was done on the SNES. even if the game looked better than galaxy, it would still be easier to render.

it was intentional. the game is based off of japanese action games, which calls for whacked out grammar.

I have known others who have tried to do this in games and it has just come off as hokey or trite. If the entire game is designed to be ridiculous and over-the-top, eg odd villains, randomness, etc I bet it could be done well. But the game looks fantastic on its own, so just make sure that the attempt at engrish humor doesn't detract from the appeal of the game. As in writing stories, if it doesn't need it, don't put it in.

it's based on japanese action games. that calls for engrish dialogue, anime-styled cutscenes, upbeat music, and over the top action. they're really going for something here, they're not just spewing a generic game and slapping engrish on it so they can say "it's based on japanese games!"

unfortunatelly, all that was told was 2009. news sites are getting all their info from the description on the official site. it's just a paragraph and i summerized it in the description of this video. i'll put a link to the site up there now.
