aw man, this cartoon was so terrible ... can't believe i watched it as a child. can't compare this to the original comic, and the much better movies that did the comics quite some justice, though borrowed a few elements from this crappy cartoon, like the different colored bandanas and pizza.

Like it or not, this cartoon was pretty much the childhood of many people. Just because it may not be a quality cartoon doesn't mean it didn't play an impact on the Turtles in Pop Culture. Plus, I like the pizza and the colored masks. Infact, it would be stupid to have all red masks for the turtles NOW if they made a new movie or cartoon.

hey, i didn't say anything that it is negative in some way that they took the different colors or the pizza into the movies ;)

and as i wrote, i watched this just like you when i was a child and hat a lot of fun with it, i even had two videocassettes of it.

it still is much better than many nowaday cartoons, but left that beside: could you watch it now? i couldn't.
