Nokia n86 problem with wobble

your one is not straight from any at&t or any phone service or even the nokia website and you say you buy from china so it should be fake..

i mean the factory its made in is not nokia factory..

they also did the samething to the n95, they copied everything and didnt put wifi on the phone thats it...

exacly, the nokia n96 is loud, but as long as the nokia n86 speakers are loud enough i am okay, and i am going to kuwait (my country) for the summer and i hope i find the white one.

but i have knew that this phone does the trick wigth picture, it is in the camera, i realy like it, it is nice.

so i am accually the nokia's phone guy, i like nokias phone, so what do you think?

should i buy it or not, i mean it is so much better then the nokia n96 that i have right now, and tell me please if it has any problems with the applications. thank you :), please recomment, i realy think your advice could be helpfull

@7843842 If you really like it then buy it. So far I don't see any problem with the applications right now. There is one application that I really like it is "TotalRecall" record phone conversation. In my opionion, I like the white n86 but they don't have it for USA. PLEASE NOTE, THE SOUND (SPEAKER) FROM N86 IS NOT AS GOOD AS N96 OR N95.

accually i was going to buy it last summer, but my dad bought me the n96, you were right it is not a very nice phone from nokia, i still like the nokia n86 alot more, and as you said, most people like the touch screen and don't like the buttons phones, any way, so i got mad, but i am using it. i had been thinking about buying nokia n86 this summer, and i had been seeing alot of reviews and unboxing, best features and also the enternet speed and all intresting about this phone,

hi,dont go in for this phone.i bought this phone and have been facing problems right from day one.the phone isnt loud enough.a gps device that never works.a phone that always hangs in an incoming call.a bad quality usb port. go in for a samsung pixon 12 or a sony-ericsson c902/905 .its pricey but you wont regret the decision.

hi..i just bought a nokia n86 3 days ago, and i'm facing random problms..sumtimes the phone hangs, sumtimes it partially stops functioning, like once i could run music player, type and read messages and play games, but the phone screen wasn't turning, the camera was'nt working and the keypad wasn't locking..

there was another time when the d'pad's directional keys were working but the middle key wasn't.. all of this is set right if i restart the phone or remove the battery and place it back..

@aboalziz1221 Somtime when you connect this phone to the pc, the pc won't recognize the phone and the phone is NOT CHARGING. You need to reconnect againt TO CHARGE the phone. The connection between the phone and the pc is a little problem. I don't know is the software or the hardware problem. GOOD LUCK!!!!

finally someone with some criticism , i had the same problems.

the slider is not super steady, I´m afraid that its gonna get loose after some while, I own the phone for 3 months and its a bit looser . No gaps , or slider movemenet, or anything I saw on N97 mini, I think that is the the best built nokia phone . Have you had any experience with n97 mini , and comparation to n86 ?

Yes is turn red if you don't turn on the flash!! You need to turn on manually.

The audio quality in the headphones is ok not that good!!! If you compare to iPhone, I would said iPhone is more better that nokia N86 about the sound quality. Note that, FM radio is not good because when you listen to it it sound like mono with two speaker!!!!

I had a n85 and the audio quality in the headphones was poor and the bass was really low... I really care about audio quality and powerful bass and now i really dont no what to do to buy it or not ...

To be honest with you, in my opinion the sound from nokia n86 have more bass than treble but the sound quality is not so good (not balance). If you want good sound quality I would recommend you to buy SONY EXPERIA X2 which is coming out soon or iPhone!! Note that, Sony Experia X2 have a good sound quality on FM RADIO!! (Stereo). The next generation of iPhone will include FM RADIO (June)

Yeah garmin is a satilite navigation company so it's better than the nokia's one last question when you are recording a video on the n86 does the flash go red?

Thanks for the reply :). that's realy bad sometimes I don't get signal at all 15 minuets is alot of waiting time to get a gps lock. I also have the wobble on the top and on 1 side the gap is a little wider nothing to worry about all n86 have the same thing nokia try their best the quality build is better than n96 atleast.

Yes I have the same problem like you. You have to go outside in other to get signal. It took me almost 15 minutes to get signal.

hello, i have had this phone for just over a week. 1st the build is very good soild in hand every thing is perfect but my major problem is the ovi maps i can never seem to get a gps lock it keeps flashing yellow and never goes green im wondering if you have the same problem please please reply. thanks
