  • man, this is funny. i like the rat

  • Leuk bedacht :p Dit is niet onze niveau....

  • JAJAJAJAJAJAJA

  • RATase, cool, got it

  • So the RAT exinuclease cleave via the SAW domains... got it!

  • Thank you, this was extremely informative, and very accurate. I wonder, in rats, are there tiny rats that remove damaged DNA, or do they have something else? Tiny elephants with chainsaws?

  • I liked this. Funny if you already know what is going on.

  • Was that a chainsaw?

  • stupid video.. really "non sense"

  • The saddest part is that this isn't the worst DNA repair video on youtube.

  • put hip hop over it and you have a contender :D

  • I'm sorry, but you trashed almost all of your credibility with those mouse/dog things and the green tub.

  • Is this biochemistry for 2 year olds?! Actually im sure even a two year old would feel insulted with this! Why keep the DNA structure in? Might as well be made of cheese!!

  • I like the idea of using rats for assisting in the health of man, for far to long the rat has been associated with bad things. Lets put the rat up on the pedestal where he belongs. Heck if we can train a rat to run around a wheel the next natural step is of course to breed miniature rats to repair our DNA.

  • n! _M3Rg4S!!!!

  • Amazing we are all comprised of atoms and worker rats; the atomic world is truly a wonder to behold. Now lets hope that they don't unionize.

  • ah yes, the rat enzyme, essential to the proliferation of the human species.

  • Awesome, who'd have thought rats were the actual cause of NER. I wonder if they are in charge of other DNA functions too....haha

  • Gotta love a rat with a chainsaw, even though this really has nothing to do with Nucleotide excision repair.

  • this is the worst video ever,

    1. tell us whats going on... with out using rats

    2. the dna gets cut before the helicase activity

  • damn why are there rats?

  • There's no need to present the molecular biology like this, just explain how it works.

1 star. Humans aren't stupid. Dumbing things down is not needed and downright insulting.

  • it's a pity that the rat throw the piece of new DNA into the DNA.. I mean, if the polymerase is the rat, throwing the new piece of the DNA is pretty far from the reality...

  • whats with the large rats?

  • I somehow feel this doesn't treat biochemistry as seriously as it should...
