these events are extreamly sad, and should never happen, but should we blame things that actually, in ACTUAL COMMON SENSE not have much to do with? again, there is something wrong with the individual, and the game just unleashed it because they could not handle much of it.
the thing is, as a gamer who is 13 and spends his time both playing rated M games, and creating online levels for them (for free i might add), as soon as im done im not gonna go and say "hey know what, since this kid at school is bullying me, ima go to school the next day, and shoot just about every one with a shot gun". I may enjoy playing games like "Call of Duty World at War" or "Medal of Honer", which the main objective is to kill people and save your teammates, but it also teaches you his-
-tory. If some one go's somewhere, and shoots some one, and if there is a video game within a 100 miles that they own, people say its the games fault. if this is true, then how come just about EVERY ONE (yes, EVERY ONE) hasn't gone a huge killing spree? The only people who do have a problem in their head to distinguish whats right or wrong, and whats real and whats fake. only people who cant handle games shouldn't play them. and it is not a games fault for their behavior.
the only thing that happened is that the person who has gone on a murder hunt, is that the game has unleashed something that was already inside him/her. the reason movies and other things don't do this in most cases, is because it is passive, and in a game, you are in control. Plus, in my opinion, we should not have the government sensor out games to minors. the government should not be our parents, out mothers and fathers should and pay attention to what we are playing.
