3+3+2+1=9, as you can see, the toolbox takes 11 diamonds/ores and you could make exactly the same thing by using 2 less... Thanks for reading!

@TheSkateboardingpony but what it is is you can have more tools with less space so its more portable basically but i see your point it would be easier to craft the tools but you can have extra tools in case your stuff breaks but thats not really a problem with diamond everyone knows how strong it is
