On another note, I agree that it is hard to talk and play at the same time... I recently uploaded my first Minecraft commentary and while I watched the end result on YouTube I noticed that there were a lot of times that I was silent, especially while placing blocks. You don't notice that you are not talking much if you are too busy concentrating on something else...

This came as a divine blessing, lol. I've been considering starting uploading minecraft videos over the past few days. I've even been "commenting" to myself while I play for some time now, without even realizing when or how I started it, makes it kinda more fun somehow.

Only problem I have is my nonexistant video recording/editing experience, but guess it won't magically come to me, I'll have to start trying :P

hey etho a very good building series is rpgmakers it about a guy called jessecox and his freinds planning out a adventure map but for smp its no were near completed but hes got it all planned out theres loads of lore to it plus he splits up his team with people who watch his show and sets them a task and they interact and sare there ideas plus they dont do the simple house they do big projects so if your looking for something like that search OMFGcata

You bring up some great points about the LP's that have spawned on youtube as of late. Some people bring originality to the forefront which is almost guaranteeing success as long as it's not crude humor or vulgar to the extreme. Nova and his "Creature" friends are able to get away with some of this as they have the spicy humor edge. Videos that bring technical ingenuity and cleverness into the Minecraft LP video world are bound for certain attentiveness. Example: Costar and sethbling.

In your LP's when you're building stuff, you usually cut away and then we see it when its finished. Instead I'd like to see 1 sec clips every now and then like you sometimes do in your RFW maps, sort of like what Zisteau does.

Your videos have become more exciting as of late, the quality is simply getting better and better with each one you put out in my opinion. This video was brilliant simply because I wasn't here from the beginning and it was nice to hear the Etho backstory.

In terms of length of your videos the longer 30 - 40 minute ones are always my favourite simply because it's nice to sit back and relax with a legendary or LP video playing.
