why is teen pop (justin bieber, black eyed peas, rhianna, lady gaga, etc.) are considered better than visual kei(D, versailles, rentrer en soi, unsraw)?
@Lhijodelkoko Funny thing is that D, Versailles, and the like are considered pop over in Japan. Weird. Hell most Japanese HATE the visual kei movement. If we just swapped genres, we'd all be happy, lol.
@LifeForBass Its not considered the pop over there, japan actually has its own pop music. There are people there who like pop music, rock, hip hop and more just like here. In fact there are plenty of pole there don't even listen to rock in general there. People who listen to vk are fans of rock and even fans of rock there dnt necessarily ilk vk, it kind of its own thing.

Visual kei is only appeals to a particular demographic, not to say it doesn't feel well, but its not like everyone listens to it there. Actually i have a few japanese pen pals, some of them wouldn't even be able to tell 3 Visual kei bands.
