its good that he retired the show was loosing quality because it actually is SO funny that peoples expectations rose during the seasons. and Rove had trouble keeping up with that.
by Retiring (not necessarily perminantly) he has given some time for himself and hopefully if he makes a comeback the new series will be better then ever!
