not really, blender is pretty easy to use

Dude, if a 3D program is good, it barely needs a UI, hotkeys are the key to speed and touch.

I HATE Maya for its UI, and it seems it doesn't have hotkeys for the most common actions so i just can't see why i would have to spend about 1-4h setting up all my fucking hotkeys...

Blender is free, stable, lightweight, powerful as hell, has all the features you could have if you payed $400 for a software suite with add-ons for features like Water sim and Hair.

You can edit blender UI to almost anything. if program's internal UI edit isn't enough, download source code and start editing until it's good enough for you.

I placed a small sphere inside of a bigger one. The bigger sphere was the fluid and the smaller was an obstacle, then I made the smaller sphere grow rapidly.
