I agree i would have been nervous as heck trying to catch that shiny without something happening that misses my chances at catching it. Yet as i was starting a new file on Heart gold i was on the route to Mr.pokemon's house and i encountered a shiny pidgedy! but i couldn't catch it because i dont get the pokeball until after the theif incident at Elm's lab. But, congratulations on the shiny karrablast!
@MrBlizzardAlligator Yeah I was super nervous on trying to capture shiny Karrablast, its like my mind went somewhere else but I got it together and focus on the main thing which was getting that awesome shiny! About your story on encountering shiny pidgey, that really sucks man. I've seen the same thing happen before but in another version but with a rattata that the person started his game and found a shiny but didn't have no poke ball! Thanks for the congrats man :D
