I think that folk, young folk especially are anxious that there will be no response from institutions, and so when there is a murmer of response, there obtains an invincible feeling of connection.
I wonder how much it cost the neon company to switch off, then on again, the sign; and whether it was done remotely, or if someone had to go to KX.
