that's f'd, but I can see how it can turn someone off, the thing about PJ, which has always been the thing about PJ since their first albums which were written and sung for the deaf to hear, is that you have to click w them and that takes an open mind and embrace through the noise which their music frequently represents on the first few few plays, and for many, all those thereafter.
Rocking!! Addictive , donno when can i stop listening to this, so beautiful in its mix of genres and beats.. wanna experience the same, dowload the entire album for free at DownloadMusic/./im, Remove the slashes.
man they weren't kidding when they said this album was gunna be short!
Oh well- it's another great addition to their repertoire.. and I thought it was a but more mainstream then their other albums, but after several listens it's just a fresh and cool sound-- and it's always kinda been like that. Almost every album took a short amount of adjusting to the sound and feeling it out-
Best song on the album. Mike McCready's been on a role. The most epic song on the last album was a McCready one (Inside Job). The most emotional song on this album is another McCready made one (Force of Nature).
Wheeew! This song is THE J-A-M!!!!! LOVE THAT GROOVE!!!! *shakes hips* I think Eddie sounds fuckin AMAZING! Mikey's solo is such a burst of bright light! Beeeeautiful outro!! One of my absolute favs without a doubt!
good shit..but for all you who are sayin his voice ain't good or what happened & shit...it's called age...he getting older.. it happens...it's still good, jsut a little diff.
mad PJ fan here , but i swore myself off the new shit ....coz i was stuck on the old stuff ......this song will probably end up too mainstream , but its powerful and eddie at his best ......it will be like betterman , daughter and jeremy and get overplayed until some think that this band is mainstream . Pearl Jam has never been mainstream , the fact is , their music attracts most !!!!!!!!
At some point, you've gotta admit that "The Fixer" is probably the most mainstream of a song that Pearl Jam has ever recorded. That said, neither that song nor this one are at all bad.

Really like the song, but I think it'd be better if they made the solo a bit longer.
