  • video is cool, but why the porn music? nasty...

  • @cuiquita100 Thank you, as for the music, I don't watch porn so I'm not familiar with any part of them. This music is jazz. I'm glad you liked the video :)

  • Thanks alot for this video! My dog doesn't get to terrified of the Pedi-Paws aymore! Before she used to panic, but now with the steps in the vid, it finally worked! She got kinda scared but not as scared as the first time!

  • @Joseph8456 Thank you. I'm glad it helped you :)

  • Thanks for the video! My pedi-paws has been sitting on the counter for over a month because I was afraid to just use it on my beagle who HATES having his nails cut. Im going to try these tips now.

  • Hope it helps you out.

  • omg... my dog and cat are like really stressed out by this pedi paws thing... im trying not to take it back cuz i hate using the nail clippers. it has to hurt them anddd my puppies nails are soo sharp afterwards that when he jumps on me, his nails cut my legs up.. i hope ur video will help me

  • I strongly suggest getting them used to having their paws touched, then their nails. This may take several sessions depending on how strong of a negative association they have with clipping or filing. Use plenty of praise and treats. If your dog doesnt take the treats, its because its too stressed out and you need to temporarily go back a step or two. Just be patient and you will succeed

  • Last week I think I freaked out my maltipoo w/ pedi paws cuz i didn't know how to introduce it to her the right way, but this morning after watching your video and copying your techniques, i was able to successfully file down my puppys nails w/o any fuss. THANKS SO MUCH!

  • I'm so happy to hear that :) Good job!

  • Must admit I have watched quite a few different videos on here. You have definitly done one of the best ad easiest to follow videos about using the Pedipaw.

I just bought one and and getting myself educated as to best approches to use it with our retriever. Your video is by far one of the best I've seen. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thank you :)

Please keep in mind that this process may take a few days. If you notice your dog showing any calming signals (yawning, more blinking than usual, licking its nose, turning away, and sniffing itself in the crotch) it's your signal to you to take it slower. It takes patience to condition your dog to accept this odd instrument. Hope this helps.

  • Thanks so much, I've seen a few youtube vids with the dogs struggling with pedi paws but I bought one as a last resort today to file my pugs nails. Pugs are notoriously difficult when it comes to nail clipping especially ones like mine that have had their dew claws removed. I'll try your method & see how I go :)

  • LOL their paws touching the pedi paws

  • FINALLY....someone on youtube with some sense!

  • LOL. Thank you :)

  • Kewl..

  • awesome dogs! i heard that pedi paws eats batteries like crazy though.

  • Thank you :)

I've been using the same batteries since I got it several months ago. I just remove the batteries when I'm not using it. The only thing I don't like is that it takes forever to actually see the nail get any shorter. I usually clip the nails and then file them down with the peti paws.

  • great. i've heard that peti-cure is better than peti paws. would you know anything about it?

  • LOL! You know, I'm not sure which one I actually have now that I think of it. Let me check...

Okay, it's Peti paws. :) I haven't used Peti Cure so I can't say. Sorry.

  • I'm very happy that this video helped you to make caring for you dog a better experience. :)

  • This was so helpful... My dog is now so comfortable with the PediPaws that he enjoys falling asleep while getting a "massage" with it...lol. Thanks :)

  • That was amazing, and it was a devil dog too.

  • I really enjoyed this video, I only have one question. Isn´t the belly up position the submissive position dogs use to expose their fragile organs to an agressor to try and stop him from harming them?

I really don´t like it when people force their dogs into this position.

  • Belly up is a calming signal, just like yawning, turning the other way, sitting and down position. You should not force your dog to do the belly up such as in an Alpha roll. In order to do this with your dog, you should establish a trusting relationship. If you notice my dog was relaxed and happy, not struggling to get up because I was over powering her. This is very important to keep the dog relaxed. You want your dog to have a choice in doing things willingly.

  • hey can u message me on how to use it better cuz my dog dont like it

  • Xdestroy35X, let me know if you have any other questions. :)

  • Thanks for sharing. Youve a cute and well mannered pair of doggies. I hope my wild -n- crazy Min-Pin will enjoy the Pedi Paw trimming as much as yours seemed to. I just purchased a Pedi Paws and the instructional video on their website isnt working at this time. Your video was helpful and enjoyable. Thanks again, Edgar...

  • Thank you Edgar, just make sure to take your time and not rush your dogs. If they seem to start to get jumpy, stop before it escalates and calm the dog first then continue. I'm sure in no time you dogs will fall asleep as file their nails.
