Piper Stock Productions, of course, was Dermot O'Reilly's company so there may be a hint of his input, but he only played the bodhran for "Masons Apron" on the album. The song was also recorded by Colcannon in 1993 and Shamrock in 2003. No history of a recording by Ryan's Fancy or Fergus O'Byrne. :-)
i always thought this version was fergus o'byrne, not the masterless men?

The banjo playing of Dave Lush is what first attracted me to this band.
He is as good, if not better than alot of the well known bluegrass banjo players.
