@Jenners87 Nope, it was surprisingly easy. I was preparing myself for this difficult task and I just ate like I normally do. In fact I developed taste buds in between the halves of my tongue! Hehe.

you can get a guard to put in between the two halves to prevent it from closing up.Will save you from having to keep respliting it

i know this has nothing to do with a tongue split, but since you know alot about piercings, i thought i would ask. Is it likely for mouth piercings to get a piece of skin inside to try and grow over the metal back? I asked the lady that pieced me and she did not help, at all. And also is there a way to get rid of it? Sorry if this makes no since, its hard to explain things

@XxxsalemrosexxX It happened with my second tongue piercing- the ball under the tongue was covered, but it didn't hurt me at all, which according to my piercer isn't normal. I got it fixed and now it's healing normally , but i freaked out a lil bit back then :)

@XxxsalemrosexxX How long have you had the peircing? That tends to happen when the bar they used on you is too short, and your lips engulf the jewelry during the swelling. If it's a thin film of skin, it should come off on it's own, but if your jewelry completely disappears, you need to go back to the shop you came from and have them resurface it.
