  • Fookin love Benga music after spending my childhood in Western Kwnya in the 70's.

  • mit mar hatari

  • I'm from Minneapolis, my wife - Nairobi. We danced till 3 to John Jr.!

Kenyans are awesome when having a good time. The room becomes warm, relaxed, and swimming with the dancing. Even the white man who sticks out like a light bulb gets happy laughs and smiles with his dancing. So sweet! As stated above, these guys are serious about music and a good time. My wife is Luo as is John. Most of the music in Kenya is in Swahili (I think). John does it in Luo in language and in the cultural references.

  • In all sincerity, I never thought JJ could sing and anytime someone praised him I would be quick to compare him with MJ. I have since changed my stand. JJ, keep up the good work, we want another album...

  • @rabet03 I agree. It is good he wants to go on his own but Musa Juma is such a hard talent to beat, he is just on his own class-extraordinary voice and excellent on the guitar. Junior is no match.

  • Jakakwaro,This guy is good and he knows!!! most of the time he is in nairobi but plays alot in Kisumu too. While in nairobi you can catch him at Zanze pub or nyanza. His concerts are jampacked with jaluo as you would probably know.

  • Thumi Mora kendo kweyo chunya, am far away in the diaspora but feels @ home when i listen to your selected lyrics.Forward ever backward never!!!!

  • I like the criticisms. But remember people, Musa is like Kofi (Mopao Mokonzi), they will all go away, but he will remain ahead of the pack. Watch this space. Junior is good no doubt, but self discipline will determine if he keeps at it. Onyalo dhi mabor kaka anene.

  • good, ber, good, ber ahinya....... very good

  • Junior my friend, keep up the gud work man, n more videos of the same naidamu

  • No wonder MJLI doesn't sound the same anymore; the core is gone. Great debut Junior!!

  • Watch out Musa Juma. I hope Johny does not end up developing a God complex like Musa. Musicians tend to forget where they came from and who made them who they are (fans). Keep up the good work Junior. Musa in the US did not deliver. How can he leave his talented musicians in Kenya?

  • WOOOOOOO! Naidamu inyosa! ituro chonge na bonje bonje gi thum ni. Merci beacoup!!!

  • Muziki ya John Junior. This was the voice behind Limpopo Int. Listen to Oriare Nyaruath and other. he has TALENT...Naidamu more video please

  • agreed...Jr. has a sweet voice

  • Ondiek anene. I think I was with him when I was home a few months ago. I met him in Simmers. He was with some of those guys playing Congolese playing there. I think he has a good voice and I hope that he can get a few originals. I wish him the best anyway. He mentions a former colleague and great buddy Jared Obuya. I have listened this piece a few times today...Stick to your music John Junior

  • naidamu. Who is he??? Is he in any of the Musa Juma stuff. Let me know his face...Aparo ni oromo go. Kaber to ber
