hi verkaforever thanks for the comment - yes I heard about the mum and the bleach - she must have been in a very dark place to have felt that desperate. so sad that people are not supported better I think.
Finally a video which shows aspergers syndrome as a gift rather than something negative. I have asperger's syndrome, so that means a lot. Sadly, I recently heard how a twelve-year-old autistic boy was made to drink bleach by his mother. Pity she didn't see this video.
I have a son that is just like that and he will get more understanding than I got. In my family Aspergers have run for generations. In school I was bullied by teachers who had no understanding at all. I am now a successful scientist, much due to the advantages of AS.
Thank You Lou, You make me cry because of the immense beauty in this clip. But You also make me very happy...you help a kids of the "non-mainstreamed" kind. People that I know can bring new great ideas into this world.
That's absolutely beautiful, Lou! I'm in tears again! If it's not your photos, it's your videos reducing me to tears! Thank you so much for sharing this ... and thanks to the Knight for letting you!
great, and now in the posautive youtube group and its /sense subgroup - lots there not wanting to cure autism, some also beautifully made like this. Check it out!
