If you think a public option will increase competition you need to learn some economics and some history. There is outright collusion among many of insurers, conspiring to keep premiums high and claim payments low. There is no "choice" in the current system. That's the entire point of having a public option; add competition to a market that has none.

Many of those protesters don't even know what's in the bill. They still think there are Death Panels. Half of the seniors who are there protesting are saying things like, "don't get government involved in my Medicare". These aren't people who know economics OR history. They are dolts/lemmings of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. They wouldn't know an original thought if Fox News fed it to them.

I have called Kathy Castor's office (Washington and Tampa) over 10 times to find out where she stands on "auditing the Fed." Each time they take my phone number and tell me they will "get back to me." I have not heard from them once!

She's another scumbag politician. I GUARANTEE you that she has not read the 1,100 page health care bill, but preaches like she has.
