Hell no I had Vans Holders as well but they were low tops. I tried to ollie a 10 stair with them and I got a massive heel bruise and I didn't even kick the board out...plus they only lasted me a long time because I pre-shoe gooed them. The minute the shoe goo wore off there was a hole in them lol. They're alright shoes. When it comes to looks, hell yeas, but cushioning and quality, meeh.

@fingerskate22 no it means that the midsole is chemically glued on to the upper as opposed to a cupsole which is stiched on. vulcs will give you more boardfeel making flip tricks easier.
