my favorite shows and they still are my favorite is rugrats, all that(the original cast), gullah gullah island, doug, pete and pete, kaboom, angry beavers, little bear, franklin, keenan and kel, figure it out, out of the box, amanda show, and many others that i can't think of right now. but these shows r better than the crap they have today.
I'm from Quebec, Canada, and one of my childhood memories was playing in the schoolyard with other kids in my elementary school in the heart of winter. There would be a few groups of kids who collected huge pieces of ice and there were like base wars between the groups. They got so violent!! I also remember the tons and tons of snow that fell. These days the winters are much milder so there are less snow days.
i remember when i used to go to a store with my mom, and if i saw a stuffed animal i really liked, i cry if she wouldnt get it. i also loved pokemon and sailor moon. ah,......memories...
when i lived in Sydney Australia we were in the botanicar gardains around evening. anyone who has ever been there cn tell you there are bats everywhere so anyays they all woke up and i got shit on by like 15 bats.
Omg secret life was my go to show back in the day, you instantly rock so hard! XD And my favorite movie when I was a kid was the Wizard of Oz, I mean I would watch that shit till the cows came home... that is until my asshole of a step dad taped over it with a star trek ep. >:( And then he eat my first moon pie! I was so mad that day I could have punched a baby!
Hey, I comepletly loved them red goggle things. I had power ranger pictures in them :D!
I'm from england and my childhood memory is when i was like 5/6 i was OBSESSED with Power Rangers, and i can remember christmas day, i walked out my room to find a power ranger skate board on the top of my stairs and then i looked down my stairs and found on every stair about 3 different power rangers or something to do with power rangers. It was my best christmas :)
my mom told me this story from when i was little:
i was turning the tv on and off while my mom was watching like the food network. and she told me that i was giving the tv a boo boo. and from like that point on everything in the house had a boo boo. id put band aids on the cabinets, the stove, the tv, the floor, the doors, the tables..it just went on in on..
lol i begin being a fan of you ...first...i'm 21 too i'm starting to love your videos ....and i'm bi by the way and watching your videos i realize that i wasnt alone in the world lol i live in Peru by the way well take care bye and sorry about my english i learned on youtube channels byee
I remember Alex Mac! That was like the coolest thing in the world to me. And Clarissa Knows Best. Seriously, I remember having imaginary adventures where I was like Alex Mac. And Are You Afraid of the Dark? terrified me, but I look back now, and I totally miss it. What happened to all the really good shows?
Alex mack was my fav tv show now I MUST admet I had to look her up to remember who she was but onst I seen her opening I rememberered her that ability to turn into goo was the one that I wanted most
Oh my god. You are now my icon. Like I never hears about you til today and it makes me really sad actually, but, that's kinda beside the point. My most vivid childhood memory was when we lived in an apartment and my mom's friend Quentin was there. He decided that we were going swimming and I wanted to see what he "looked like". So my seven year old stalker creeper ass stood behind the bathroom and watched him change. I was the creepiest child. Sorry Quentin. But seriously. I love you.
cool vid;D yeah i also love childhood memories.i grew up in Lithuania and i was born after the indipendence so my childhood certainly wasnt like full of soviet russian stuff lol actually most of my memories are from that time are playing in old construction sites, doing a lot of DIY stuff in the basement and my parents used to often go camping and they used to take me to this beutiful place by this lake and how i was always afraid of eals for some reason and lobsters ;D i was afraid of swimming
Seriously, Alex Mac ruled!!! and so did Pete and Pete if anyone remembers that... i grew up in Mexico so i had sailor moon, dragon ball, and ranma every day and still to this day LOVE them
one of my childhood memories includes on of the LightBrights! but the down fall was that you didn't get a lot of black paper to punch holes through, so, hopefully i wasn't the only one, i would use notebook paper, which didn't work because the light could shine through that..... :(
we are soulmates, haha. harriet the spy was my absolute #1 favorite movie when i was a kid too! i would go around with a notebook and write notes on all my friends and family members and annoy the shit out of them. it's probably the reason im studying writing now. plus alex mack was/is my FAVORITE nick show of ALL TIME. i bought all the novelizations, and would always pretend i had her powers. i remember so many episodes...ah, good times.
Haha, I remember I was in 1st grade when Rocko's Modern Life was on and i had a spelling test about environmental stuff and couldn't spell to save my life. But then that spring cleaning musical episode came on and the song like, spelled out recycle, pollute, and conserve and it totally saved me. I still remember the song to this day. Fuckin love Rocko
Secret life of Alex Mac was AMAZING!!!!!! so was Clarissa Explains it All.. I've always wanted a friend that would climb in my bedroom window like Sam did!! AND an alligater for a pet. that'd be sweet!
i remember i offered to help my preschool teacher sweep the porch of my preschool before school since i got there early, and she yelled at me because i held the broom the wrong way
OMG! Okay, so I just discovered your videos, and I'm loving them by the way. You're so real and down to earth.
Anyway - Harriet the Spy...loved it. Alex Mac...used to have a secret crush on her. Let's see, um Are You Afraid of the Dark and All That and Legends of the Hidden Temple. Pongs. Hide and Go Seek Tag. Hot lava. Wagon races down the hill. Building forts in the woods. Climbing trees.
I love childhood! And I look forward to more of your videos. Don't stop being real!
Hi, I'm from Argentina, and i will always remember waking up on saturdays mornings when i was like 9-years-old and watching The Fresh Prince, Step by Step and Fullhouse at the WB. xD
Also, I remember playing Hide and Sick every night in my neightborehood xD and playing with "tickitackas" and "diabolo bronco", two wonderful toys that were very fashionable when i was young.
What else? well, a lot ot games that i'm not sure you would know, however, they were awsome.
Shwmae(hello) I'm 18 and from South Wales in the UK, I'm not going to bother typing my name barely anyone can pronounce it. Two bad memories I have are: accidentily knocking over a plant pot and standing on the broken shards (no scars though.) Another time I tried to pull a light bulb from a lamp when it was on and burning myself.
A generally funny memory is thinking I had found jesus, who at the time I thought was a fish, which was acctually a squished piece of orange peel. Weird eh? Hwyl(bye)
how the hell do u forget alex mac?! i loved alex mac i miss old nick shows the new ones suck like hard core i misss those!! i also looved rugrats to deah. you should have mentioned them lol
I totally remember Alex Mac! One childhood memory I have is, on many occasions, standing at my front door, I must've been 7 years old, and just wishing I could turn into a puddle thing like Alex and leave my house without opening the door. I loved that show. My other fave Nick show was Are You Afraid of the Dark? I could never watch it at night but I loved it lol... Oh and this is the first time I've ever commented a vid. When you mentioned Alex Mac, though, I knew I just had to say something :)
yess i remember alex mac! i live in peru and i whatched it here in spanish! it was one of my favorites!roko was very very funny too!i like hey arnold too!
One of my childhood memmories that will never leave me is when i went to Fraiser Island with my family and was bitten by a dingo. Dont quite remember the pain, thank god, but looking back on it, it was a pretty stupid idea for a group of people to sit on the beach and have lunch around a dingo...
and i do remember that childhood show of that tomboy girl and the waste making her all liquidfied, awesomeness totally agree with you there. my childhood memories... well i lived in japan, doubt you'll read this so if you want to know just ask ^_^
Ok Childhood memories I remember the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Cartoon, freakin Captain Planet com on you guys remember the jingle, X-Men and the original Power Rangers with Zordon! Oh and you can't forget salute your shorts!
umm the whole nipple thing...could be a precursor of u being gay...i no mine was i wanted the barbie cooking set wen i was 7 or 8...cause it was pink XD
Im from mexico and i didnt watch a lot of Alex Mack i got to watch a few episodes before the station changed the programing but i remember it was a good show, i watched mostly cartoons like thundercats reruns and Xmen, and of course Tele-Novelas, i always got mocked at school cuz i was the one boy talking about how Maria got pregnant by the wealthy Luis Fernando, and the evil Soraya wanted to get her man back by tricking him into some melodramatic plot that ended with someone dead.
Well Im From UK , And Looking Back When You Said Some Things Like ALEX MAX Woop Lol, And Nickalodeon with sabrina the teenage witch and stuff like that jesse was awsome but i always loved those little clciky things were u would put a little ball in this like plastic net thing and u click it and the ball shoots out FUCKING EXCELLENT dunno if u get what i mean lol, and i loved that back then i dont remember the world being atall ugly i remember it being a great place i loved my innocence :D
i thought it was the adventures of alec mac.. lol idk. lmao.. but i loved those shows. i cant seem to get anyone else to remember a show that i used to watch and it was with some girl that could talk to whales, and they spoke like an australian accent. and NO ONE CAN REMEMBER IT... ugh but yeah.. i cant help but love those old shows. who doesnt love clarissa explains it all.
I loved the Secret World of Alex Mac (k). It was on the Nickel-O-Zone with that talking O thing...oh how sweet and simple were the days of yester year...
Haha the secret world of alex mac! I loved that show... and I was so down with rocko's modern life!!! :D
One of my best childhood memories was waking up and making my mom and dad watch Power Rangers with me. As I got older if it wasn't power rangers then it was the Animaniacs!!!
Alex Mac!!!!!!! Or Mack.... Or...whatever. I used to LOVE that show so freaking much. How she'd turn into water or something and slide under the door. haha Wow... childhood. Who would've thought looking back on it would be so much fun?
i remember being scared of "are you afraid of the dark?" that creeped me out. and "goosebumps." does anyone remember the old Sonic the Hedgehog series? when Sonic was voiced by Jaleel White. WAY better than Sonic X. im 17, and the 90's was freakin awesome. I remember being a ninja for halloween 5 years in a row. the one memory i remember most from kid-dom was when i turned 7 and i got LEGOs and only LEGOs that year
Fuckin OMG!!!! I love all those shows. I also loved Doug, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and All That! The Secret World Of Alex Mack was the SHIT! There was a website that had all of those shows on it but I forgot the name of it, sorry. Anyway, I feel your excitement.
I loved loved loved all the old Nickelodeon shows. And I do remember Alex Mac. That was probably one of the coolest shows ever. I remember watching that every Saturday night as a kid. Ah the good ole days.
Also you have good taste in beer. Molson is one of my favorites. lol
Well, i decided that I would try my hardest to not have the same beer all the time, and try different ones each time I bought beer. So, that was my first choice. I enjoy it!
I LOVED Harriet The Spy! My favorite Nick cartoon as a kid was Hey Arnold. I also loved Doug. And even though they weren't on Nick, I LOVED Captain Planet and Ghost Writer!
The memories.. thanks so much for posting this video!
well, there one memory I always remember, when I still lived in Mexico. I think I was around 6, and I was in a bus with my mom and a cousin. We were entering a zoo, and I always remember there was like a guy, standing like on the top of this arc, that marked the entrance. I use to think it was a parrot. xD
Sounds like you wanted to be a janitor. If only they made great money? Anyways, I loved alex mac, if being hit with toxic waste gave me the power of telekinesis, I would freak.... in a good way. I remember all those shows you mentioned. I recently came across disney channels "So weird" and "Big wolf on Campus". Totally brought me back to childhood. Awesome ways to remember the good old days.
i fucking love alex mac....omg like do u remember are you afraid of the dark amazing...i still watch those shows on youtube like all the time....lol....ur freakin funny
My memory is going out on weekends and building snow houses with friends in winter at charismas time. End walking up the hill and raiding the sled down the hill.
Okay, maybe someone can answer me this one! What was the show with the family who was lost in a Dinosaur world?! Like, there was an earthquake or something and then they are stuck there. Know what I'm talking about?
Haha! Yes it is! So funny. I was talking to one of my co-workers at my campus job, and my boss yells from her office "Land of the Lost!" It was wonderful :) Thank you everyone!
OMG ALEX MACK! I wanted to turn into a liquid metallic-looking puddle too. Rocko's Modern Life and Ren & Stimpy were the two shows that freaked the hell out of me. They seriously scarred me for life lol
my favorate childhood memory was probs when i was living in north america, for 6 months, i loved it so much, i hated england and still do haha, was such a great time!
I STILL LOVE "The Secret Life of Alex Mack" and "Clarissa Explains It All"! I never got into Rocko's Modern Life.
I also wanted to roll in toxic waste to get powers... and get slimed, ahaha.
Others include: Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Animorphs, Doug, All That (the original), Kenan and Kel, Rocket Power, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, The Amanda Show, As Told By Ginger, Double Dare, Get The Picture, GUTS, Legends of the Hidden Temple,Figure It Out.
All those Nick shows took me back. I still think Rocko is freakin great. haha
My favorite childhood memory is the Power Rangers. I LOVED that show and me and my friends used to pretend to be them at recess. It was even better because my mother was a teacher's aid and her name is Reta, so we'd always pretend she was Rita Repulsa from the show. LOL
OMG I remember Alex Mac!! where she got hit with radiation goo, and she can turn invisible *I think its invisible* it was a great show! Isnt that same actress in some other movies now?
I loved "The Secret Life of Alex Mack" best thing is that theirs a user who has mostly all the seasons posted on youtube! In which I proudly watch!!! I also loved the Angry Beavers,Rocko Modern Life,Aaah RealMonsters,Rugrats,Rocket Power,The Original cast of All That, Kenean and Kel, all those shows were my shit!!!
fourthly, i own the first season of alex mack on dvd. yes, that show was prolly my fave. along with clarissa explains it all, legends of the hidden temple, double dare, all that, salute your shorts, hey dude, you can't do that on television and sooo many more!
okay first of all, i freakin love you for this video!
second of all, harriet the spy!!! what what! ;)
thirdly, rocko's modern life? hell yes! my favorite ep was the one w/ where heffer kept running up into the airplane and sliding down the ramp "weeee" ;)
Loved Secret World of Alex Mac & Are you afraid of the Dark :) I liked Rocko, along with Doug, very cool child hood memories..one of my child hood memories was playing in the snow with my brothers friend & one of his friends sat down grabbed some snow ate it..I came over and he grabbed snow that was yellow..yeah I think a dog pissed there..it was a gross..oh and sledding down this one hill hitting the garbage dumpster, twisting my ankle at the same time :)
OMG. Could you please describe this show to me? I have been trying so hard to think of the show where the people come from outer space and there is one girl on the show with rainbow hair. Maybe this is it!!
you are soo weird...size of nipples...gave me a good chuckle...
i totally was the same though with the sweeping, i LOVED to sweep when i was younger, but ONLY with a push broom, and i still love sweeping, but ONLY with a push broom...
i remember the good old nicktoons and nick tv shows...i still love Rocko's Modern Life, it was and is amazring...i also liked all that in its early seasons and the amanda show and omg, Keenan and Kel...it's syndicated now, i catch it whenever i can!
I loved all those shows!! Do you remember the show Nick Arcade? Or Wild and Crazy Kids? Or how about Hey Dude? Also the show Are you Afrade of the Dark. Those where all such good shows. To bad they are no longer playing.
I agree with you on the Nick shows. Even though I wasnt a kid when those shows came on I was still a huge fan. I think the one scene in Rocko that sticks in my mind is the refrence to masturbation. Rocko walks in on Hefer and Filbert playing a board game...the name of the board game? Spankin' The Monkey..and even to drive it home on the board game was a little bent over monkey with a mechanical hand ready to spank....I loved Nick back then. Pete and Pete was still my favorite, tho.
i TOTALLY loved Alex Mack! for years, i wanted to be able to melt into a puddle. and all the other shows you mentioned were freakin' AWESOME. and Harriet the Spy as well, too cool. and why - it was a Nickelodeon production! your cool points totally skyrocketed from this video
1st :)... I remember All That, although I saw it a few years later and (unfortunately) it was not "all that" (or funny) any more. And yes... I remember alex mac.
my Childhood er...every morning i face same paino and same violin, nothig else just practiceing and practiceing, every afternoon with one piantbrush to finish my oil pianting, and every night i also suffer form the noise comes from those dacneing girl,
chris was an ass hole. glad u made it through the troubled days... dead rabbits arghhh. what about arghh real monsters with icis and obleena (excuse the spelling). what about the chewing gum that came wrapped with a temp tattoo... omg, crazy for those things. for all the people in Australia, What about AGRO. cant go past Agro.
You know, Dan. I have HARRIET THE SPY. If you want to come see it with me in New York one of these days, feels free to do so.

I'm from the uk
One of my favourite childhood programmes was Come Outside
Aunty Mable and her dog Pippin used to go everywhere finding out how things were made etc (eg how they make a paper clip)
But the best thing of all was the spotty aeroplane that Aunty Mable flew :D
THE BEST SHOW EVER!! :P

Alex Mack was my favorite show, ever. I even had a couple of the books. None of my friends remember it either and I watched it, like, religiously.
TheOtherTyler 3 years ago
Im from mexico and i didnt watch a lot of Alex Mack i got to watch a few episodes before the station changed the programing but i remember it was a good show, i watched mostly cartoons like thundercats reruns and Xmen, and of course Tele-Novelas, i always got mocked at school cuz i was the one boy talking about how Maria got pregnant by the wealthy Luis Fernando, and the evil Soraya wanted to get her man back by tricking him into some melodramatic plot that ended with someone dead.

i remember being scared of "are you afraid of the dark?" that creeped me out. and "goosebumps." does anyone remember the old Sonic the Hedgehog series? when Sonic was voiced by Jaleel White. WAY better than Sonic X. im 17, and the 90's was freakin awesome. I remember being a ninja for halloween 5 years in a row. the one memory i remember most from kid-dom was when i turned 7 and i got LEGOs and only LEGOs that year

Also you have good taste in beer. Molson is one of my favorites. lol
SuperNova317 3 years ago
Well, i decided that I would try my hardest to not have the same beer all the time, and try different ones each time I bought beer. So, that was my first choice. I enjoy it!

I loved these shows you've mentioned: Clarissa, Rocko's and Alex Mack (?). I also enjoyed from Nickelodeon Pete & Pete, it was awesome!
And View Master, what a great toy! I still have mine right here. The old model has a better design.
I'm 25 and, detail, I'm from South America.

o.o happy late birthday xD
well, there one memory I always remember, when I still lived in Mexico. I think I was around 6, and I was in a bus with my mom and a cousin. We were entering a zoo, and I always remember there was like a guy, standing like on the top of this arc, that marked the entrance. I use to think it was a parrot. xD
And I still don't know why I remember that.
darkeststorm 3 years ago
Sounds like you wanted to be a janitor. If only they made great money? Anyways, I loved alex mac, if being hit with toxic waste gave me the power of telekinesis, I would freak.... in a good way. I remember all those shows you mentioned. I recently came across disney channels "So weird" and "Big wolf on Campus". Totally brought me back to childhood. Awesome ways to remember the good old days.

I loved all those shows!! Do you remember the show Nick Arcade? Or Wild and Crazy Kids? Or how about Hey Dude? Also the show Are you Afrade of the Dark. Those where all such good shows. To bad they are no longer playing.
ecolover21 3 years ago
I agree with you on the Nick shows. Even though I wasnt a kid when those shows came on I was still a huge fan. I think the one scene in Rocko that sticks in my mind is the refrence to masturbation. Rocko walks in on Hefer and Filbert playing a board game...the name of the board game? Spankin' The Monkey..and even to drive it home on the board game was a little bent over monkey with a mechanical hand ready to spank....I loved Nick back then. Pete and Pete was still my favorite, tho.
