I just returned from BLR yesterday and to be watching this has kept my spirits intact. Good production and hope that it reaches all the citizens and visitors in BLR and motivates them to keep BLR clean :-)

We invite all to join in the next clean up drive 20th September, main focus will be on segregation and recycling, we want to teach the citizens, that with an one time investment of 1000 Rs and another 30 rs per month everybody will be able to give out almost zero waste to BBMP. Help us to spread the word

Could we push for a couple of other things- :))

Dust bins at regular intervals- Bustops, train stations etc. Regular claring of these.

Push for waste segragation at source.

Push for reuse/recycle of waste at household level

Here are the results: =========================== 4700 participants 6000 bags of garbage 5800 bags collected by BBMP 200 bags failed to be collected by BBMP =========================== A BIG APPLAUSE to all the participants & the BBMP!! :)
