pigs have it alot worse than horses did or will. Dont believe me? do a search for "Undercover Pig Farm Investigation" and tell me horse slaughter is worse. Horses had it easier compared to pigs. If you dont see this then you are blind.

jfcuttin...even though your comment is old, I had to reply. I had a horse put down by a vet once, and it went very smoothly, one injection to tranquilize her, then one more of phenobarbitol to end her life. She went unconscious and laid down right away and was dead in a very short time...no thrashing or suffering. Slaughterhouses are terrifying to animals; they're usually not stunned at all (kosher) or inadequately stunned, and suffer terribly while dying, often being brutalized by workers too.
