i am so proud to be a part of Rachel's Challenge. We have a little club at my school and i am so happy that i joined. We covered that school with Rachel's Challenge posters. It was amazing how many people signed the Rachel's Challenge banner. It was heart-stopping. :)

the story behind the crying eyes was this:

the day before the father got Rachel's backpack back a man called him. He lived in Colorado as well and lived about 1000 miles away. The man told Rachel's father that he keeps having dreams about seeing eyes. Those eyes were crying 13 tears(to represent the 13 killed)

The next day he went to pick up the backpack. He looked at the last piece Rachel wrote in her journal. it was a picture of the crying eyes.

we've had them come to my school twice. oh my gosh, people are so disrespectful. they were laughing at the part when her brother said his last memory with his sister was them arguing. i wanted to jump up and say something, but there was just too many people... but i hope, one day they realize.. whether it be in a good matter, or the hard way. and rachel seemed like a very good person, and i believe she was :) i'm just sorry she had to be the one to go... but at least her legacy lives on. <33
