you know ok the little flap for the r2 r1 mine came off and idk how to fix it and put it back together mind if you put a video on how to put it back thanks for the look at great vid
Cant get the screw out this is my first time taking it apart I have the right screw driver but it's like stuck in it I don't won't to break my controller
@CrAzYFuNgA place the screw in the notches of the + then push down with a good amount of pressure and slowly turn left... (righty tighty, lefty loosey) Hope that helped let me know
@GetThisHere101 okay i did two things bad, one i accidently, dont know how, broke the screw holders, and then for the "rumble pad?" one of the wires came out can you help me figure out how to fix these things or??? what??? plz help
I have an older sixaxis controller with no motors inside. I have an old PS2 controller with the vibration motors. Does anyone know if it would be possible to retrofit the PS2 rumble motors into the sixaxis? Is there room in those controllers for rumble motors? I know you can use the motors from a PS2 controller in a Dualshock, so the only issue is whether they could be made to fit inside a sixaxis.
@GetThisHere101 tell people that it is a philips #0 so they don't use a wrong one and strip their screws, but besides that little lack of information very good video.
How would you fix a ps3 controller if coffee got in it? i tried fixing it I opened it dried it up with a cotton swab on where it was spilled and i unplug the battery cause it was annoying me wen i was fixing it when i was done i plug it back in and i put everythinq bak when i tried turning it on it didnt want to turn on,i even charged it for an hour and still it didnt turn on when it still shows the flashing red dots wen its charging but when i disconnect it from my ps3 and still doesnt turn on
An easy way to unclamp the bottom bit between your 2 analog sticks is to get the flat/blunt end of a butter knife and push down with that it givs you extra leverage.
the f*cking screws are f*cking hard, they wont spin and open... any recommendations??? my controller is really screw up, specially when pressing L3, other buttons like triangle, circle, R2, sometimes even the PS button start pressing automatically!! games are turning unplayable, so im looking into fixing this one, ore buying a new controller
@speedy123321 when you are sure you got the screwdriver in the cross notches, put pressure and slowly turn... Make sure your screwdriver is the right size and you are using a (x) not a (-) screw driver
@Barody96 hi, i did find a solution /watch?v=7cnXHaHw1qA&feature=related the resolution in the video is not the best, but the explanation is good enough, my controller is working perfectly now, so yeah it fixes the problem :) hope it helps (i did not make the video)
ii need to clean the joysticks so i figured i would pen up my remote, just for kicks, and well to clean it. would th process for a non-vibrating controller be the same?
@monkeneere1 The non-vibrating should have less steps because there are no rumble packs to worry about. The process will be mostly the same except for maybe 1 or 2 minor differences
cheers dude that help hepps cause i couldnt get the rumbles out and i didnt wanna break them so thank you peace out by the way my PSN is pizzafoot7 spelt like tht send me a request if u want thanks again
@Videogamefanaitc2468 I just disassembled the newest type of controller and with the rumble packs there are two white stubs that stick out like small poles, use your pointer and thumb and squeeze the two poles together till you hear them clip off. That's if you have the newest controllers that come in the cardboard packaging. thanks for watching and leave a thumbs up if this helped! thanks
I noticed that you just pulled out the rumble packs. I just bought this controller, and they're secured tightly by a clip. I don't want to break it, and i need help. Thanks.
@xXzeregaXx which part are you at? your motherboard and plastic pad is still together... are you trying to take out the rumble packs, what they have is a sticker that sticks on to the plastic carriage so you just cautiously with a good strength and push it out.
Hey , i disassembled my controller and then put it back together again but now it wont turn on, and when i plug it into the usb it only comes up with 4 flashing lights. Please help p.s iv tried resetting it. Thanks
@94PrestonB That just means you prolly assembled the controller really well cus it lights up when you plug it in!... I had the same problem my first time. Think your problem could be you put the reset button on backwards so when you close the controller all it does is keep resetting which causes it to keep blinking. Or you didn't fully connect the batter pack which is why there is only power when plugged in, let me know if you fixed it and test it out before closing the controller
@GetThisHere101 Hey again i tried both suggestions you gave me but yea unfortunately neither worked :( . If you have any other ideas it would be much appreciated ( i dont want to fork out for a new controller haha ) Thanks
@XWSPhantom sir excuse my language but please shut your mouth... I did not make you do anything and the nerve to tell me that I made you brake your controller, lol
On the other hand, thank you for watching and if you need help fixing it then do ask
@GetThisHere101 thanks dude, your video really help, but i dind't hear anything you said from this video because i mute it..just wanted to share here that if your L2 or R2 press automatically when playing games,it means the spring got broken, you can use a modify spring found in clicks pen...btw,reassambling is far more difficult than disassambled it...
@Falluccafier123 if your looking to mod the led lights, you don't need to take it off and I don't think it can come off... modding the leds is only messing with the lights on the circuit board meaning you have to de-soder the current red leds and soder the colored led light you wish to put on... If the video helped please leave a like and if you have any other questions I will definitely try to answer them
@jochman12 I am not to sure because I never opened an xbox 360 controller but to take a guess... I don't think so because 360 thumb sticks will either be too small/big or it doesn't have the same shaped hole that fits into the ps3 sticks (rectangle)
