Hi There. No comparison the JVC is way better. I just bought a JVC Evrio GZ MG 467B today. I've just been playing with it. Haven't tried the software yet, it was a sweet deal I could not pass up. Retail for $700 in Canada I got it for $340. :-D Let me know how your new software holds up. Thanks. Samantha
