This is utterly hypocritical! The state of Arizona which ran out of drugs for executions have acquired a supply from the UK! The State Attorney General for Arizona Terry Goddard confirmed to The Arizona Republic on Monday that the drug (sodium thiopental, which is in global short supply) was imported from Great Britain.

Find better ways to spend tax payers money and keep at bay all these un-necessary adventurism for a later date. The second point is that, I'll like to see the UK advocating the Rule of Law and assisting less able jurisdictions to enhance their judicial system.

The death penalty if administered after due process of law, should be left for individual countries to administer and I think it is about time that UK considers this option and re-introduce death penalty restrictively.
