I am pretty sure Fender Bullet S-3's were only made in 1982. I bought mine brand new in 83' for $179.00. I still play it. It's identical to yours. Around 84' or 85' they began making them in Japan and 83' was the last year they were made with the Telecaster neck. They're selling in the $500 to $900 range now (2010 - 2011)
Yes I see that I am wrong on the date of this Guitar
It is a beautiful guitar to play and next time I have the neck off I will see if it is dated
