Hey Cody. what are the major advantages and disadvantages to putting OS 5.0 on a USCC Tour??

Hey Corey, well the major advantage are things like threaded SMS (which I love), new theme interface, and overall stability and speed improvements.

Disadvantages are mainly the fact that most of these are beta releases and a lot of them have bugs, 5.0.0.230 had a media player problem where it wouldn't auto play the next song, stuff like that. Each one has it's own set, some are major, some are not. My favorite build is probably 5.0.0.484 from Sprint (not very buggy). Hybrids are great too!

Original Production of Slide7 has been canceled. However, I may do some work myself to the theme and then release it if everything works out ok.

Until then, I encourage you to look at sites such as CrackBerry where you can find some great themes as well.

So how is the trackball functionality? I just bought mine, but I can't get it till Christmas. Anyway, the trackball I heard has issues. Is it still an ongoing issue, in particular, is it a problem for US Cellular's Blackberry Tour?

Trackball works fine on the U.S. Cellular version.
