    Customer Reviews:

"I went to a sound shop and they told me there was not a replacement radio for my Mercedes ML320. I told my son and he immediately found quite a few of them on Amazon. I purchased this radio\cd\dvd\bluetooth player at his suggestion. He installed it for me. He did have to make minor adjustments but this radio is great. The blue tooth ..."

  • cant you just ground the pink wire???

  • just ground it !!! in any area in your car where u can ground it... so you don;t need the switch ..

  • i just put my in dash dvd player in my ride today and just grouned it, works fine brah pshhh

  • @tattooedjohnny

So upload a video and share the knowledge.....brah.

  • All you need is a diode connected to the switched accessory connection.

At that point it will work no matter what.

  • Awesome video, and thanks for the help. You should check out seller radonich1 on eBay or my videos for parking brake bypasses that work with all newer Pioneer, JVC, Sony, Clarion, and Eclipse radios.

  • everybody talks about the wire from the stereo going to the parking brake, were is the wire supposed to hook up on the parking break?

  • ey wats up with dem 3 dots ese??

  • @1994edgarcuevas

ayes boy. mi vida loca. W

  • @bassmekanik1 oh yea thats whats up foo

  • Thats what I did and it works

  • U can just ground it

  • @ourbosspimpin

no you can not just ground it, but thanks for the comment brah.

  • @bassmekanik1 brah? wow,, like a spic

  • @ThaKillahB

You sir are a douche bag. Come back with something super witty so i can block/delete you.

  • If you're capable of wiring a toggle switch to bypass your ebrake safety circuit, you should be MORE than capable enough to wire a bosch 5 pin relay to provide ground to the ebrake safety circuit using the antenna lead of the radio. 4 simple connection to the relay (2grounds, antenna trigger, brake bypass wire). This is a more professional way of AUTOMATICALLY getting around the ebrake safety circuit. If you need any help with the wiring, let me know and i'll explain how to wire it up.

  • all u gotta do is connect the pink wire to the ground

  • Hey man, this actually helped me out a lot! I just bought the NX500 so im assuming it will work the same way? Because I noticed you have the NZ500...

If you could let me know that would be great!

    Thanks man

  • where kan i connect the "hand brake" wire?

  • where kan i connect the "hand brake" wire? and the "tel mute" wire?

  • So, what powers the LED?

  • man my old in dash all i had to do was ground the parking break wire

  • @mattinmo

it was not as big of a hassle as i thought it would be.

I NEVER use my screen man. kinda a waste...

  • couldnt you split off the remote lead on your deck so it would just work like that all the time. most toggle switches are for one wire the ground is usually just for the light that's on the toggle switch to tell you whether or not it's engaged. and connecting it to the remote on you deck would make sure theres not a constant power source running through the parking brake wire on you headunit. I may be wrong sir but just wonderin............

  • @visiblystealthy In decks where viewing media is an option (ie. DVD/NAV Units) a "parking brake" wire is present and "requires" you to splice into your parking brake ground. The toggle switch just tricks the head unit into thinking the opperator has engaged the parking brake and the vehicle is not in motion. The remote wire has no "say" (so to speak lol) in the signal the deck sees from the parking brake.

    PS. DUDE WHATS UP? LOL

  • @bassmekanik1 Oh ok couldnt you just wrap the headunits ground with that wire then?????

  • no because it needs to have a relay kinda thing ... on ground off ground

  • please post what all you have (brand and model number) if you feel like it. Im ordering a sundown audio sae 1200D and 2 re audio se 12's. im also getting a power inverter to run my ps2 slim .I have the slim, just need the inverter....GLAD TOMMOROW IS PAYDAY MAN!

  • Not sure what I'm going to do for monitors yet.. I just spent a lot on subs, head deck, amp, capacitor, wires etc..

  • im 16 i recently put a screen in my car ... and i didnt have to ground nothing i just touched the 2 dvd wires together and it works all the time no switch

  • I got the head deck for $100 plays dvds, has 2 video monitor outs, sub out, rear cam out. I plan on installing back seat DVD monitors. I don't plan on watching the movie myself. Just the people in the back can watch.

  • @kjstafford Are you going to get pre fabbed after market head rest monitors or going to install the lcds yourself? im intersted in pre-fabbed headrest 8 inch LCD's for my jeep.

  • I hope this works on my Planet Audio P9680 Head Deck. That'd be awesome!

  • @kjstafford hey man im not hating or trying to tell you how to spend your money....but......you should think about saving a little extra coin and getting something.....a little better. In any case whatever you decide i think the toggle switch should work for most in-dash DVD/NAV units. Thanks for your comment man.
